Designed for a smooth wall wash
The Moon Puck is a low-profile under cabinet light whose optics spread light evenly across the wall and the counter. The result is a continuous glow along the backsplash rather than a series of bright circles. The UC-WW-2430H90BN is the brushed nickel version, a soft satin metal tone that stays discreet and elegant under wood, painted or lacquered cabinets.
Materials and light
The body and the bracket ring are metal. Inside, a plastic reflector directs the light and a frosted lens diffuser hides the LEDs and softens the beam. The 3000K warm white colour is the classic choice for kitchens, dining rooms and bathrooms, where natural wood, stone and tile look their best in a warm tone. At 3W per fixture, a full row of pucks consumes very little power, a clear advantage over the old halogen pucks that heated up the inside of the cabinet.
Wiring, driver and dimming
The puck runs on 24V: it needs a compatible 24V driver and must never be connected directly to line voltage. Paired with a suitable dimming driver, it dims from 100% down to 10%. Each fixture is supplied with bare leads for a hardwired installation, and since the pucks are linkable, several can share one run from a single driver. Plan the number of pucks according to the driver's capacity and the manufacturer's instructions, and have the connection to the building's circuit done by a licensed electrician.
Two ways to mount it
Surface mounting with the bracket ring is quick and ideal for existing cabinets. For new millwork, remove the bracket ring and recess the puck into the cabinet bottom for a flush finish. Position the pucks toward the front edge so light falls on the counter, space them evenly along the run, and hide the wires in a channel or along the cabinet frame. In a bathroom, place them so the light reaches the vanity top without shining into the mirror.
Ideas for every room
Kitchen counters, coffee bars, pantry shelves, bathroom niches, walk-in closets, bookcases and store display cases all benefit from this warm, discreet accent. Keep the lens clean with a soft, dry cloth, and your brushed nickel pucks will look as good as your hardware for years. If you mix finishes in the same space, keep brushed nickel for the visible pucks near nickel pulls and faucets, and choose the black or white version where the fixture sits against darker or lighter surfaces.
