Three controllers in one compact housing
The E3-WR is designed for installers who are tired of stocking a different receiver for every strip type. One unit covers RGB, RGB+W and RGB+CCT compatibility, so the same part number works whether the job calls for pure colour, colour plus a dedicated white channel, or colour plus tunable white. The body measures only 100.6mm x 40mm x 17.6mm, which means it hides easily above a drop ceiling, behind a valance, inside a cabinet or in a junction box. The newer, more compact design keeps the same capability in less space — a real advantage on retrofit work where the cavity is already crowded.
Zones, RF and Wi-Fi control
This is a 1 to 8 zone controller, so a single compatible remote can address separate runs — living room, hallway, island, bar — independently or all together. RF communication operates at 2.4GHz with a control distance of 30m, and the controller is self-repeating: each unit relays the signal, which helps coverage in long corridors, multi-room basements and commercial spaces where walls eat radio range. Add Wi-Fi and the same fixtures answer to a smartphone, so scenes and colour changes are available from the couch or from the front counter. Stepless dimming delivers smooth transitions from a soft glow to full output with no visible jumps.
Wiring and power
Installation is tool-free: strip the conductor to 10mm, insert it and clip it securely — no tiny screws to drop into the ceiling. There are dual inputs, one DC barrel jack for plug-in power supplies and two clips for hardwired power supplies, so the same controller suits a plug-in desk or display application and a permanently wired architectural cove. Output connection is common anode, matching standard colour LED tape. Very important: this controller is not compatible with dimmable power supplies — feed it from a standard constant-voltage 12V or 24V supply and let the E3-WR handle all dimming.

Because the iP20 rating means indoor, dry-location use, plan for a protected mounting point and keep the unit within its -10~40°C working range. Respect the Class 2 total output figures when sizing long runs, and split longer installations across multiple controllers — being self-repeating, they extend each other's coverage.
