What is in the kit
The K2 KIT is a complete two-piece control system: the K2 removable magnetic wall remote and the E2-RF receiver. The remote sits on a magnetic wall plate, so it installs where you want the control to live and detaches instantly when you would rather dim from the sofa. Turning the dial raises or lowers the output; there is no dimmable driver to buy and no dimmer to wire into the wall box. The receiver is the piece that does the work, sitting between your power supply and your LED strip lights or low-voltage pucks.
Radio frequency control that actually works
Infrared remotes need a clear shot at the receiver, which is why so many strip installations end up with an ugly sensor taped to a cabinet edge. The K2 uses 2.4GHz RF instead, with a control distance of 30m through walls and floors. Hide the E2-RF in a TV stand, above a valance, behind a toe-kick or inside a millwork cabinet and it still responds. Because the system supports an unlimited number of paired controllers on its single zone, a kitchen with three separate power supplies under three cabinet runs can be dimmed together as one, perfectly in sync from a single RF wall remote.

Installation and compatibility
Wiring stays simple: your low-voltage power supply feeds the E2-RF controller, and the controller feeds the strip. The output connection is common anode, the standard arrangement for single-colour and CCT white tape, and each channel handles 6A with a total of Max 12A (4A at 24V or 5A at 12V to comply with Class 2 requirements) — so size your runs and add a second receiver when a long installation needs more current. The iP20 rating means indoor, dry-location mounting: inside cabinetry, ceiling cavities, coves and service boxes, not outdoors or in a shower. Working temperature is -10~40°C, which covers unheated garages and cold Canadian basements as well as warm kitchens. The remote runs on 2 x AAA batteries, so nothing needs to be powered inside the wall.
Real projects and documentation
Think under-cabinet kitchen tape you finally dim down for late-night snacking, a basement home theatre where the cove lighting drops to a glow before the movie starts, a retail counter that softens after closing, a hotel headboard, an office reception niche, or a set of low-voltage LED pucks in a display cabinet. Contractors appreciate that a renovation needs no new switch leg and no dimmable driver — the remote simply lands on the wall where a switch would have gone.
