One remote, four zones, every type of strip
The C5 solves the most common frustration in LED strip lighting installations: mixing technologies in the same house and ending up with a drawer full of remotes. This RF handset carries 4 separate zones, and each zone is assigned to whatever strip type its receiver supports — RGB, RGBW, RGB+CCT, single colour or CCT adjustable white. Select a zone, adjust it, move to the next. Zones are independent, so Zone 1 can be running a colour scene while Zone 3 simply dims a warm white run under the cabinets.

Compatible controllers
The remote is the transmitter; the controller wired between your power supply and your strip is the receiver, and it must match the strip you are using. For an all-in-one solution, the C5 works with the WL5 WIFI all-in-one controller, the ML5 Matter + Homekit all-in-one controller and the PZ5 Zigbee + WIFI all-in-one controller. For dedicated receivers: single colour uses FUT036; CCT control (adjustable white) uses FUT035 and FUT035 (Original); RGB uses FUT037, FUT037 (Original) and FUT043; RGBW uses FUT038 and FUT044; RGB+CCT uses FUT039, FUT039 (Original) and FUT045. Every zone you plan to use needs at least one of these controllers, several controllers can share a zone, and all controllers on a given zone must be of the same family so they respond identically to each command.
Installation and everyday use
Setup is refreshingly simple: install the 2 x AAA batteries, wire each controller between the low-voltage power supply and its strip, then pair the controller to the zone you want from the remote. Because the C5 communicates by radio at 2.4GH rather than infrared, you do not need to aim it at the receiver — the signal passes through cabinet doors, coves and walls within the 30m control distance, which is a real advantage when the driver and controller are tucked inside a ceiling, above millwork or inside a display case. Plan controller locations where they stay accessible and ventilated, and keep the strips on each zone on the same controller family to avoid mismatched commands.
Where it earns its keep
Homeowners use it for basement theatres, kitchen under-cabinet runs, staircase and cove lighting, bedroom headboards and garage workbenches — one handset for all of it. Contractors like it for condos and rental units where the client wants colour in the living area and clean white light everywhere else. Small businesses run one zone on the display shelves, one on the bar, one on the back counter and one on a colour accent wall for seasonal changes.
