One controller, five strip types
The PZ5 is a 5-in-1 hardwired receiver, which means you stock one part instead of five. It drives single colour, CCT variable white, RGB, RGBW and RGBCCT (RGB + variable white) LED strip lights from the same terminals, using a common anode output connection — the standard wiring found on the vast majority of flexible tape light. On a job where the kitchen gets warm white, the games room gets RGB and the bathroom gets tunable white, the same controller model covers all three, and your programming habits carry from one room to the next.
Radios, zones and self-repeating range
Three control paths live in one enclosure: Zigbee 3.0, Wi-Fi and 2.4GHz RF. Zigbee control distance is rated at 100m and RF control distance at 30m, and the unit supports 1 to 8 zones with self-repeating operation — each controller extends the mesh for the next one, so a long bungalow, a split-level or a commercial floor plate stays responsive without extra hardware. Connect it to your existing Zigbee gateway, or run it through popular ecosystems like Philips Hue. Voice control is available through Alexa and Google Home, and day-to-day dimming, colour picking and scene recall happen in the mobile app or on a 2.4 GHz remote (sold separately). Eighteen built-in colour-changing modes cover parties, holidays and slow ambient fades, and the Do Not Disturb mode — active by default — stops the lights from snapping back to 100% brightness when power returns after an outage.

Wiring and installation notes
The PZ5 is a hardwired device: it sits between a DC power supply (12 to 48V, matched to the voltage of your tape) and the strip itself. Respect the 10A per channel figure and the Max 20A total output, and keep in mind the Class 2 limits noted on the spec sheet — 4A at 24V or 5A at 12V. For long runs or high-density tape, split the load across more than one controller and let the self-repeating zones keep everything in sync. The iP20 rating means dry indoor locations only, so mount it inside a cabinet, an accessible ceiling cavity, a millwork chase or an electrical closet, never in a shower niche or outdoors. Working temperature is -10~40°C; give it a little air if it's tucked behind a valance. At 119mm x 47mm x 23mm it disappears almost anywhere, but always leave access for pairing and firmware updates.
Where it earns its keep — and the documents
Think basement renovations with cove lighting, under-cabinet kitchen runs, stair nosings, hotel corridors, restaurant bars and cafés, retail shelving, home theatres, gyms and office reception walls. Contractors love it because one SKU covers the whole building and the mesh grows as zones are added; homeowners love it because the phone, the voice assistant and the remote all do the same thing.
