What you get in the kit
The 1ZONEKIT bundle covers both halves of a wireless dimming system: the FUT087 RF wall remote and the E2-RF receiver. The remote is a flat wall-mount style transmitter measuring 80mm x 80mm x 17mm, powered by 3V (2 x AAA batteries) so there is no wiring, no back box and no electrician needed to place it. Stick it beside a doorway, at the top of the basement stairs or on the side of a kitchen island, then move it later if the room layout changes. Note that starting from 03-09-2024, the controller included in this kit was updated from FUT036 to E2-RF.
RF performance and range
Unlike infrared handsets, this remote uses 2.4GHz radio frequency, with a control distance of 30m. Radio signals do not need line of sight, so the receiver can be tucked inside a millwork cabinet, above a drop ceiling, behind a TV stand or inside a closet and still respond from another room or another floor. That is a real advantage on jobs where the driver and controller have to be hidden for a clean look but the client still wants a wall control they can find in the dark.

Wiring, capacity and compatibility
The E2-RF receiver installs between the low-voltage power supply and the single colour LED strip, using a common anode output connection. Respect the stated capacity when you size your run: 6A per channel and a total output of Max 12A, limited to 4A at 24V or 5A at 12V to comply with Class 2 requirements. Long installations are handled by splitting the load across several power supplies and several receivers — since this is a 1 Zone system, you can pair an unlimited number of compatible controllers (sold separately) to the same zone so every section dims in unison from the one remote. With an iP20 rating and a -10~40°C working range, mount the receiver in a dry, ventilated indoor location such as a cabinet, a soffit or a service cavity.
Where it works best and documentation
Think under-cabinet led strip lighting in a kitchen, cove lighting in a basement ceiling, toe-kick and stair accents, closet and pantry shelving, low-voltage LED pucks in display cases, plus commercial uses like boutique shelving, bar backs, reception desks and office millwork.
