Built to replace your biggest incandescent bulbs
The A21 20W Dimmable E26 LED Light Bulb is the high-output member of the household screw-in family. Its plastic casing keeps the weight down in the socket and in shades, while the LED engine inside produces 2200 lm from just 20W — a good replacement for a 150W halogen. Where old incandescent and halogen lamps turned most of their energy into heat, this A21 LED bulb stays cool enough to be comfortable near fabric shades, in enclosed-feeling hallway fixtures and in rooms you actually live in. With a rated life of 25 000 hours, one bulb replaces a long parade of burned-out lamps.
Light quality and dimming
The 220° beam angle is what makes this bulb feel natural: light is thrown out sideways and downward rather than in a tight cone, so lampshades glow evenly and ceiling fixtures light a whole room instead of a puddle on the floor. This SKU is the Warm White 2700K version, the cozy, amber-leaning tone people want in living rooms, bedrooms and restaurants; the same model is also available in Daylight 5000K for garages, laundry rooms, workshops and offices. The bulb is dimmable from 10% to 100%, so a single fixture can carry you from full task light to a quiet evening setting. Pair it with a quality LED-compatible dimmer and test one bulb first — dimmer performance always depends on the control used.

Installation and compatibility
Installation is as simple as lighting gets: shut off the power or the switch, unscrew the old lamp, screw in the LED, done. The E26 medium base is the standard North American screw base, so the bulb drops straight into table lamps, floor lamps, ceiling fixtures, pendants, wall sconces, porcelain keyless sockets and vanity bars running on 120V. Before ordering, check the shade or enclosure for clearance: the bulb measures 139 mm long by 70 mm in diameter, a little fuller than the small everyday household shape, which is exactly why it can push out so much light. Its -40 to 45 °C working temperature also makes it a rare bulb that starts instantly in an unheated garage, a shed, a cottage or a covered entry during a Canadian cold snap, as long as the fixture itself is rated for the location.
Where it works best, and documentation
Homeowners use it for living rooms, family rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms where one central fixture has to do all the work, and for stairwells and hallways where changing a bulb means hauling out a ladder. Contractors like it for relamping apartments, duplexes and rental units in a single pass. Small businesses put it in cafés, boutiques, salons, clinics, offices and storage rooms, where 2200 lm per socket cuts the number of fixtures needed. Because it is a dimmable LED bulb, it also suits restaurants and hotel rooms that need mood control at night and full brightness for cleaning in the morning.
