Built to replace the bulb you grew up with
The A15 LED light bulb keeps the familiar screw-in format of an incandescent bulb in a smaller, rounder envelope, so it fits the fixtures that always gave you trouble: enclosed vanity globes, ceiling fan arms, small pendants, decorative sconces and lamps with narrow harps or tight shades. The E26 medium base is the standard North American thread, so there is no adapter, no rewiring, no special socket — unscrew the old bulb, screw this one in, done. Inside, the light is produced by a Luminus LED chip, a solid-state source with no filament to burn out and no glass tube to shatter when the ladder wobbles.
Light quality you actually want at home
Colour temperature is 2700K warm white, the same golden tone as the incandescent bulbs it replaces — ideal for living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms where cool white light would feel like an office. The 200° beam angle is a medium-wide spread meant for general-purpose lighting, so the light washes across the ceiling and walls instead of punching a single bright circle onto the floor. With 450 lumens, you get the everyday brightness of a 40W incandescent from a bulb pulling only 5.5W.

Electrical and installation notes
The bulb operates on standard 120V residential and commercial power, so it works on any normal branch circuit in Canada. One important detail before you order: this model is non-dimmable. Installed on a dimmer, a non-dimmable LED can buzz, flicker or fail early, so keep it on a regular on/off switch, or plan a dimmable model for circuits you intend to control. Also let the fixture breathe — LEDs last longest when heat can escape, so avoid cramming them into fully sealed enclosures that trap warm air. Turn power off at the breaker before changing bulbs in hardwired fixtures, and handle the bulb by its base rather than the dome.
Where it earns its keep, and what's in the Documentation tab
Homeowners use these for bedside and floor lamps, hallway fixtures, stairwell globes, closets and cottage cabins. Contractors specify them by the case for rental units and condo turnovers where a consistent 2700K warm white across every socket makes a unit look finished. Small businesses — cafés, salons, boutiques, inns and dining rooms — pick warm light for atmosphere and the 15,000-hour rating to cut down on bulb changes during business hours.
