Built to hold light, and heat
An LED strip is only as good as what it is mounted on. Bare tape stuck to drywall or wood traps heat, and heat is what shortens the life and fades the colour of LEDs. The SUBAR-1M solves that with an aluminum base: aluminum spreads and releases heat instead of holding it, so the strip runs cooler and stays consistent. The 35mm body also delivers rigidity, keeping the 1 meter rectangular LED profile straight and level when it hangs in plain sight.
Light quality and finish
The included diffuser is what separates a professional install from a DIY one. Without it, you see every diode; with it, you get one smooth, continuous band of light, which matters over a dining table or a reception desk. End caps finish both ends of the extrusion so no wiring or bare metal shows, and the overall look is deliberately minimal: a crisp line of light, nothing more. Pick a warm white strip for a cozy dining room or a neutral white for task areas such as kitchens and offices.
Installation and compatibility
Measure and cut your LED strip at its marked cut points, seat it inside the aluminum extrusion, snap in the diffuser, close the end caps, then hang the profile from the ceiling with the included suspension kit. Plan your feed point before you hang: bring the low-voltage wire down through or alongside one of the suspension cables so it disappears into the design. This profile pairs with 2835 high output LED strip; add a driver sized for the total wattage of the strip, plus the connectors or solderless clips your strip type uses, and confirm the strip's width fits the channel before cutting.
