Built to make your strip look installed, not improvisedThe LUX2400 family is a
45° corner aluminum profile, and this is the long version: a one-piece 10-foot extrusion in a tidy 20 mm x 20 mm square section. Set it into an inside corner and the angled face points your
led strip lighting out at 45 degrees, exactly where you want the light to travel. Aluminum is the material of choice here for two reasons: it is rigid enough to keep a perfectly straight line over a long run, and it acts as a heat sink, drawing warmth away from the LED tape. Cooler tape means steadier output and a longer service life from the strip you install inside it. This 10-foot model has been discontinued and remains available in black only while supplies last.

Light quality and strip compatibilityA bare tape shows every diode; a profile blends them. The 45° geometry of this
aluminum extrusion widens the throw so the light washes a wall or a countertop rather than punching a single hard stripe. It accepts an IP20 strip for dry interiors, an IP65+ strip for kitchens, bathrooms and sheltered areas, and certain IP67 strips as well — check that the silicone jacket of your tape fits the 20 mm channel before cutting. Choose the colour temperature and output of your tape according to the job: warm tones for living rooms and restaurants, neutral or cool tones for workshops, garages and retail displays. The profile itself does not limit voltage or wattage, so it works the same with low-voltage tape runs as with longer feeds.
Installation, mounting and finishingPlan the run first, then cut the extruded aluminum to length with a fine-tooth blade or a mitre saw, deburr the edges, and dry-fit before sticking anything. Two mounting methods are common: optional aluminum clips screwed into the corner, which let you snap the profile on and off later for service, or our sturdy double-sided tape for a fast, screw-free job on clean, dry surfaces. Feed the strip in, keep the solder joints and the power lead outside the channel where possible, and cap both ends with matching end caps so dust stays out and the ends look deliberate. In a 45° corner, aim the open face away from sightlines so people see the glow, not the diodes.
Where it earns its keep, and what to pair it withThink cove lighting above kitchen cabinets, indirect ceiling perimeters in a basement family room, under-counter light in a bar or reception desk, shelf and display case lighting in a boutique, and stair or corridor lighting in a condo building. Contractors like the 10-foot length because long walls need fewer joints and fewer visible seams. Since this length is counter pickup only and black only, many projects pair it with the
8 feet 45 degree aluminum profile for LED strip (LUX2400), which is also offered in anodized aluminum for a lighter, brushed look. The technical PDF for SKU 10FLUX2400 is available in the Documentation tab with the full dimensions if you need them for your shop drawings.
