Construction and design
Each unit in this string is a compact, resin-sealed module measuring 44 x 14.6 x 7 mm and carrying two SMD2835 LEDs. The modules are joined by flexible wire leads with a 65 mm centre-to-centre distance, which is what makes this product so different from a standard LED strip light: the light points stay separate, so you can spread them across a wide surface, wrap them around a radius or drop them into narrow letter returns. The low 7 mm profile lets the modules disappear inside shallow cabinets, channel letters and aluminum extrusions, and the sealed body protects the diodes and solder joints from moisture and dust.
Light output and colour
Each double module produces 46 lm with a 160° beam angle. That very wide spread is the key to even backlighting — placed behind an acrylic or polycarbonate face, the beams overlap and eliminate the striping and hot spots you get from narrow-beam sources. The 6000-7000K colour temperature is a bright cool white with a clean, high-visibility look that stands out on signage, in display cases and in task areas. With 50 modules in the set, you can cover a long letter, a wide lightbox or several smaller elements from one string.

Electrical and installation notes
This is a constant-voltage 12V DC product, so it needs a 12V DC power supply rated for your total load — add up 0.48W per module and choose a driver with headroom. Never exceed 50 modules in a single row; for bigger jobs, run several strings in parallel back to the supply rather than extending one line, which keeps the brightness uniform from the first module to the last. Mount the modules with their adhesive backing on a clean, dry surface, or fasten them mechanically inside metal letters and cabinets. Keep polarity consistent, seal any field connections, and leave a little slack in the leads so nothing pulls at a joint. The IP67 construction and the -20 to 45 °C operating range make the modules suitable for damp and cold locations, though the driver and connections must always be housed in an enclosure rated for their environment.
Applications and documentation
Sign shops use these 2835 LED modules to backlight channel letters, lightboxes and menu boards; retailers light glass showcases, shelving and window displays; homeowners and contractors hide them under kitchen cabinets, in coves, along stair nosings and behind bar fronts where a rigid strip cannot follow the shape. They also work well in restaurant and salon signage, garage workbenches and basement renovations. No spec sheet, IES file or installation video is posted in the Documentation tab for this item; the full technical parameters above are taken directly from the manufacturer's data, and our team is happy to help you size the driver and plan the layout for your project.
