Built to disappear into the designThis
LED tape light is only 10 mm wide, so it slips into shallow coves, cabinet valances, niches and aluminum extrusions without being seen. The board is a 2oz density white PCB, a heavier copper build that helps move heat away from the diodes and blends into white or pale surfaces. Cut marks are placed every 100 mm along the 5 m reel, and 3M double-sided tape on the back lets you mount directly onto clean, non-porous surfaces such as aluminum channel, melamine, glass-smooth MDF or metal.
RGBW light qualityRGBW means four chips per group: red, green and blue for saturated colour, plus a dedicated
3000K warm white chip for real, comfortable white light instead of a washed-out mix. With 30 LEDs per metre and a 120º beam angle, the output spreads wide and reads as a line of light rather than a row of dots once you add a diffuser. A CRI of 80+ keeps skin tones, cabinetry and merchandise looking natural in white mode.

Wiring and installationThe strip is a
constant voltage 24V product: feed it from a 24V DC driver sized for the total wattage of your run, at 9W per metre, plus headroom. The spec sheet includes a connection guide that strongly recommends
parallel connections rather than chaining runs end to end — going past the recommended length makes the far end dim and damages the strip over time, so bring separate feeds back to the supply for long installations. Solder or use RGBW connectors that respect the +24V, R, G, B and W pads, keep polarity consistent, and always test a section before closing up millwork. Because the
IP22 rating is for dry indoor locations, keep it out of showers, soffits and exterior applications.
Where it works and what to pair it withThink kitchen under-cabinet and toe-kick lighting, ceiling coves in a living room or master bedroom, stair nosings, headboards, home theatre backlighting, reception desks, bar fronts, display cabinets in a boutique, or accent lines in a restaurant or salon. It also handles seasonal colour for storefronts without a second fixture. Match it with a compatible RGBW controller and a 0-10V or DMX system if the space is already on a control protocol. Need a plain white line instead? Compare the
LED strip 4.8W/m 3000K IP22, the
LED strip 17W/m dim to warm, or stay in colour with the
LED strip 14.4W/m RGB IP22. The full
spec sheet, including dimensions and the parallel connection guide, is in the Documentation tab.
