Brand: LEDCO

Turn a corner without breaking the light. The zig zag LED strip is a bendable LED strip light — also called an LED tape light, LED ribbon or LED strip lighting — built on a zig zag circuit board that lets you curve it left and right, follow rounded coves, wrap columns, trace arches, spell out signage shapes and hug the soft radius of a curved bulkhead, all without a single connector. Where a standard rigid-format strip forces you to cut and solder at every turn, this one simply flexes and keeps running, so the line of light stays continuous and seamless. Homeowners use it for cove and ceiling accents, under-cabinet lighting, stair nosings, headboards and floating shelves; contractors and small businesses reach for it in retail displays, reception desks, bars, salons and anywhere a curved detail deserves its own glow. SKU LCLS24V-ZIGZAG-48W-30K-IP22.

Under the silicone-free surface, this is a serious light engine: 120 LEDs per meter at 9.6W/M (±10%), producing 1000 lumens per meter at an efficient 104 LM/W. The 3000K warm white output is rendered at CRI 90+ with SDCM under 5, so wood, paint, skin tones and merchandise look true, and every meter of the reel matches the next. It runs on 24V DC constant voltage, is fully dimmable and works with DMX PWM, RF PWM, 0-10V and MLV incandescent dimmers. The 120º beam angle spreads light evenly instead of spotting, and the compact board — 6.5 mm wide, 2 mm thick, on a 2oz density white PCB — tucks into slim channels and tight reveals. Each reel is 16.4 ft / 5M, with a max run of 5 m and a cut size every 50 mm. It is UL listed, rated IP22 for dry and protected indoor locations, and rated for 50 000+ hours of life. Pre-applied 3M double sided tape handles mounting on clean non-porous surfaces.

This strip earns its place in kitchens, basements, home theatres, curved coffered ceilings, hotel corridors, boutiques, restaurants and office reception walls — anywhere a Canadian renovation or build has a radius instead of a straight line. Pair it with a 24V DC power supply sized to your total run and follow the parallel, middle or double-end connection methods in the spec sheet. Need a straight-run companion at the same output and colour? The LED strip 9.6W/m 24V 48W 30K IP66 matches it watt for watt in a wet-rated format, while the LED strip 24V 4.8W/m IP22 is the softer option and the LED strip 19.2W/m 24V 96W 30K IP66 steps up the punch. Curve your light the way you imagined it — add this reel to your project today.

Built to bend, not to break
The whole idea behind this bendable LED strip is the zig zag copper trace: instead of a straight ladder of solder pads, the circuit weaves side to side so the board can flex horizontally along its own plane. That means you can shape it around a curved cove, a round column, an oval ceiling detail or a wave-shaped bulkhead and still have one uninterrupted line of light — no corner connectors, no soldered jumps, no dark gaps where two pieces meet. The board is a 2oz density white PCB, 6.5 mm wide and 2 mm thick, which reflects light forward and dissipates heat well for long, stable operation. Factory-applied 3M double sided tape runs the full length for mounting on clean, non-porous surfaces.

Light quality you can trust on finishes
With 120 LEDs per meter, the diodes sit close enough to blend into a smooth line rather than a row of dots, especially behind a diffuser. Output is 1000 lumens per meter at 9.6W/M, which is a comfortable 104 LM/W — bright enough for real under-cabinet task light, gentle enough for ambient cove work. The 3000K warm white tone flatters wood, brass, warm paint and stone, while CRI 90+ keeps colours honest for retail displays, bathrooms and anywhere people check themselves in a mirror. SDCM under 5 means colour consistency from reel to reel, so a second order won't look green or pink next to the first.

Wiring, dimming and installation
This is a constant voltage 24V strip, so it needs a 24V DC driver sized to the total wattage of your run, with headroom for comfort. Respect the 5 m maximum run: pushing past it causes visible voltage drop and, over time, damage to the strip. The spec sheet illustrates three proven methods — parallel connection (strongly recommended, each run fed from the supply), middle connection (a feed wire tapped to the centre of a longer line to prevent dimming at the far end) and double end connection (powered from both ends, which doubles your maximum run, and can even use two identical supplies, one at each end). Cut only on the marked 50 mm points. For dimming, choose a driver and control compatible with DMX PWM, RF PWM, 0-10V or MLV incandescent dimming, and keep the same dimming protocol across the whole installation.

Where it works, and what's in the Documentation tab
Think curved reception desks in a clinic, a rounded island toe-kick in a kitchen renovation, spiral stair handrails, arched doorways in a restaurant, oval ceiling coves in a condo living room, cylindrical display podiums in a boutique. Because it is IP22, keep it to dry, protected indoor locations; for damp, exterior or splash-prone runs, choose the wet-rated family instead, such as the LED strip 9.6W/m 24V 48W 30K IP66. Want colour or tunable white elsewhere in the same project? Look at the LED strip 14.4W/m 24V 72W RGB IP22 or the LED strip 20W/m 24V 100W IP22 CCT, and for a cosy dimmed glow, the LED strip 17W/m 24V 2440K dim to warm. The complete technical PDF, including the dimensioned drawing and the three connection guides, is available in the Documentation tab.
