Built for long, clean runsThis
RGBW LED tape is built on a
12 mm wide flexible PCB with
3 oz copper, a heavier copper weight that helps pull heat away from the diodes and keeps colour and brightness consistent along the run. With
96 LEDs per metre, the red, green, blue and white chips sit close together, which softens the dotting effect you see on sparser tapes — especially useful in shallow coves, under cabinets and in any spot where the strip is seen at an angle. The tape can be cut at the marked points every
62.5 mm, so you can tailor each section to the exact cabinet, stair or ceiling detail without wasting material.
Real white, real colourThe big advantage of
RGBW strip lighting over plain RGB is the dedicated white channel. Here it is a warm
2700K, the cozy tone most people want in living rooms, bedrooms, restaurants and hospitality spaces. Run the white alone for everyday functional light, run the colours alone for accent and mood, or mix them for pastel and tinted effects. With a
CRI of 80+ on the white channel, finishes, textiles and skin tones stay natural, and the
120º beam angle spreads the output wide enough to wash a wall or fill a cove evenly.

Electrical and installation notesLow-voltage
24V DC operation makes this tape safe and simple to handle on site and lets you run longer lengths than a 12V product before voltage drop becomes an issue. Respect the
10 m maximum run per feed and calculate your power supply from the
23W per metre draw, leaving headroom on the driver. Because this is an RGBW product, you need a four-channel
RGBW controller and five-conductor wiring between the controller and the tape; the strip is
dimmable through that controller. Clean and dry the surface before applying the adhesive backing, avoid tight bends at the solder pads, and use an aluminum extrusion with a diffuser lens wherever the tape will be visible — it hides the diodes, protects the circuit and acts as a heat sink. The
IP22 rating means indoor, dry locations only: coves, cabinets, millwork and ceilings, not exteriors or wet areas.
Where it works and what to pair it withThink kitchen valances and toe-kicks, bathroom mirror surrounds in a dry zone, staircases, home theatres, basement bars, reception desks, retail display cases, restaurant banquettes, gyms and event venues — anywhere a colour scene at night and a warm white for daily use both make sense. For projects that mix colour zones and static white zones, the
LED strip 14.4W/M 24V 72W (RGB) IP22 covers pure colour accents, while the
LED strip 17W/M 24V 2440K IP22 (dim to warm) is a great choice for residential living spaces. For damp or outdoor-adjacent locations, the same family offers IP66 versions such as the
LED strip 19.2W/M 24V 96W 30K IP66. The full technical PDF is available in the Documentation tab for your wiring layout and submittals.
