Built to run long and look seamlessThis
LED strip is built around Epistar 2835 SMD chips mounted at a density of 128 LEDs per metre on a flexible circuit board. That density is what separates a professional-looking installation from a cheap one: close spacing means the individual diodes blend into one continuous line, especially once you tuck the tape into an aluminum channel with a frosted lens. The PCB uses 3 oz. copper, which helps pull heat away from the diodes and keeps light output stable over long runs. The strip is flexible enough to follow a cove, a curved bulkhead or the inside edge of a display case, and it can be cut to length every 62.5 mm, at each group of 8 LEDs, so you rarely waste material.
Light quality that flatters the roomAt 130 lumens per watt and 9.6 W per metre, this
LED tape light gives you real working light, not just accent glow. The
4000K colour temperature reads as neutral white — bright and modern, ideal over counters, workbenches and merchandise, and an easy match with most contemporary ceiling fixtures. The
CRI 90+ rating is the detail pros look for: wood grain, paint, fabrics, skin tones and food all keep their true colour instead of looking washed out. The 120° beam angle spreads light wide and close, which is exactly what you want when the strip sits only a few centimetres from the surface it's lighting. The strip is fully
dimmable, so you can drop the level for evening ambiance with a compatible low-voltage dimming system.

Wiring and installationThis is a low-voltage DC strip, so it needs a driver (power supply) sized for your total load — calculate 9.6 W per metre of strip installed, then add headroom so the driver isn't running at its limit. Feed long runs from both ends or split them into separate circuits fed from a central driver to avoid voltage drop and the dimming you sometimes see at the far end of a long line. Always cut only on the marked cut points, every 62.5 mm, and use solderless connectors or soldered leads with heat shrink for clean, reliable joints. Clean and degrease the mounting surface before applying the adhesive backing; on rough wood, inside aluminum profiles or in any location with heat or vibration, mechanical clips give a much more durable hold. Mounting inside an
aluminum profile for LED strip with a diffuser is strongly recommended — it hides the dots, protects the tape and gives the installation a finished, built-in look.
Applications, matching products and documentationThink under-cabinet and over-cabinet kitchen lighting, toe-kick and island lighting, closets and pantries, bathroom mirror and vanity lighting, tray-ceiling and cove lighting in living rooms, stair nosings, garage workbenches, plus commercial work: retail shelving, display cases, reception desks, bar fronts, restaurant banquettes and office coves. Need a different tone on the same project? The family includes
