Built to run straight and lastThis
indoor LED strip is built on an 8mm wide flexible circuit board with a 3oz copper thickness — heavier copper spreads heat away from the diodes, which is exactly what keeps light output and colour stable over long runs. The
Epistar 2835 SMD chips are packed at 128 pieces per meter, tight enough that inside a diffused channel the line reads as one continuous glow rather than a row of dots. Cut marks fall every 62.5mm (8 LEDs), so you can size each section to a cabinet, a shelf or a stair riser, and the tape flexes around inside corners without kinking.
Light quality you actually noticeWith
CRI 90+, this tape renders wood grain, quartz veining, food and fabrics honestly — a detail that matters under kitchen cabinets, in walk-in closets and over retail displays where colour sells. The 3000K colour temperature is a warm white that feels residential and inviting, and the
120º lighting angle spreads light wide instead of punching a narrow stripe onto the counter. Efficiency sits at
130 LM/W for a draw of
9.6W/M (±10%), so a long cove run stays gentle on the circuit while replacing far hungrier halogen or xenon strip lighting.

Wiring, dimming and installationThis is a low-voltage DC tape, so it runs from a driver — size the driver to the total wattage of your run at
9.6W/M and keep each continuous run within the
10m maximum length to avoid voltage drop and a dim far end; on longer walls, feed two runs from the same supply instead of daisy-chaining one endless line. The strip is
dimmable through a compatible low-voltage dimmer or dimmable driver, which is what makes it so good for restaurants, bedrooms and media rooms where the mood changes through the evening. Clean and degrease the surface before sticking the tape, mount it in an aluminum extrusion for heat management and a softer diffused line, and solder or use proper connectors at every cut. The
IP22 rating means dry, protected interiors — for showers, soffits, decks and anything exposed, choose a waterproof IP66 version instead, such as
LED strip 9.6W/M 3000K IP66 30M.
Where to use it, and what goes with itUnder-cabinet task light in a kitchen, toe-kick and island lighting, cove lighting in a living room ceiling, pantry and closet shelving, stair and hallway guidance, bar backs, jewellery and bakery cases, reception desks, spa and salon mirrors, office millwork — the same reel covers a homeowner's basement refresh and a contractor's commercial fit-out. For a cooler, crisper look choose
LED strip 9.6W/M 4000K IP22, for colour effects add
LED strip 12V 19.2W/M RGBW, and if your project is designed around a 24V system, the matching
LED strip 24V 9.6W/M 3000K IP22 keeps the same look. Full details, cut points and electrical values are in the technical spec sheet in the Documentation tab.
