LED STRIP 9.6W/M - LCLS12V-48W-30K-IP66-30M

SKU: LCLS12V-48W-30K-IP66-30M

Brand: LEDCO

Soft, continuous light exactly where you want it — that's what a good LED strip does, and this 9.6W/M tape is built to do it for years. Whether you call it LED strip lighting, LED light strips, LED tape, a ribbon light or simply "strip lights", model LCLS12V-48W-30K-IP66-30M is the flexible, cut-to-length solution homeowners, contractors and small business owners reach for when they want a clean glow with no visible fixture. Tuck it under kitchen cabinets, inside a cove or tray ceiling, along a staircase, behind a bathroom mirror, inside display cases, under a bar counter or in a retail window. It hides, it bends, and it turns plain surfaces into architectural light.

Under the silicone you get Epistar 2835 SMD chips — 128 LEDs per meter for a smooth line of light instead of visible dots — drawing 9.6W/M (±10%) at an efficient 130 LM/W. The CRI 90+ rating is the detail that makes the difference: wood grain, paint, skin tones and merchandise all look true, which is why this tape works as well in a kitchen as in a boutique. The 120º beam angle spreads light evenly, and the warm 3000K colour temperature delivers that cozy residential white Canadians love. The strip is dimmable, runs on safe low-voltage DC power, uses a 8 mm wide PCB with a durable 3 oz. copper base, and can be cut every 62.5 mm (8 LEDs). It is UL listed and rated for 50,000+ hours of service.

This is a go-to for kitchen under-cabinet lighting, basement renovations, cove and ceiling accents, closets, home theatres, restaurant counters, salons, offices and retail displays. In Canadian homes it's also the easy fix for dark winter afternoons — a warm 3000K line of light that makes a room feel finished. Need the same tape in another white? Compare it with the LED strip 9.6W/M in 4000K, the LED strip 9.6W/M 3000K or the LED strip 9.6W/M in 5000K, and see the LED strip 14.4W/M RGB if you want colour. Built for clean, continuous lines of light
This LED tape light uses Epistar 2835 SMD diodes packed at 128 pcs per meter, a density that smooths out the individual dots and gives you a near-solid line of light when the strip sits in a channel with a diffuser. The flexible circuit board measures 8 mm wide and is built on a 3 oz. copper PCB — more copper means better heat transfer, and better heat management is what keeps an LED strip bright over the long haul. Cut marks are placed every 62.5 mm (8 LEDs), so you can trim a run to fit a cabinet, a stair nosing or a shelf without wasting material.

Light quality you can actually see
Colour rendering is where cheap tape falls apart. With CRI 90+, this strip renders wood, paint, fabric, food and skin tones accurately — a real asset over a kitchen counter, in a bathroom vanity, in a jewellery case or above a bar. Output is rated at 130 LM/W for a draw of only 9.6W/M (±10%), and the 120º lighting angle throws a wide, even wash instead of a narrow stripe. The 3000K warm white of this SKU is the classic residential tone: inviting in living rooms, bedrooms, cove ceilings and hospitality spaces, and flattering on warm woods and brass.

Installation and electrical notes
The strip runs on low-voltage DC power, so it needs a driver/power supply sized for the total load: multiply 9.6W by your total length in meters and leave yourself headroom. It is dimmable, which lets you pair it with a compatible low-voltage dimming system for mood control in bedrooms, dining rooms and lounges. Respect the cut marks, solder or use a quality connector at each junction, and feed longer installations from both ends or in parallel branches to avoid voltage drop and a visible fade at the far end. Mounting the tape in an aluminum profile is strongly recommended: it acts as a heat sink, protects the strip and, with a frosted lens, hides the diodes for a professional finish.

Typical projects: under-cabinet kitchen lighting, cove and tray ceilings, stair and hallway accents, closets and pantries, home theatre risers, reception desks, retail shelving, restaurant bars and office niches. If your project needs a different white, the same 9.6W/M platform is offered as the LED strip 9.6W/M 3000K, the LED strip 9.6W/M 4000K and the LED strip 9.6W/M 5000K; for colour-changing effects, look at the LED strip 12V 19.2W/M RGBW.
