LED STRIP 19.2W/M (RGBW)

LED STRIP 19.2W/M (RGBW)

SKU: LCLS12V-96W-RGBW40K-IP66-5M

Brand: LEDCO

Give any room the power to change its mood in a second. This RGBW LED strip — what most people call LED strip lights, LED light strips or simply LED strip lighting — combines full colour LEDs with dedicated white LEDs on the same flexible tape, so you get real, usable white light for everyday tasks and a full palette of colours when it's time to have fun. It's the tape you run under kitchen cabinets, along a ceiling cove, behind a TV wall, around a bar or up a staircase, and the one contractors reach for when a client asks for indoor LED lighting that can do both accent colour and clean white from a single run.

This model, LCLS12V-96W-RGBW40K-IP66-5M, runs on a safe 12V low-voltage supply and draws 19.2W per metre for a total of 96W over the 5 m reel — a serious output for a tape light, which means bright, even colour wash instead of the weak glow of bargain strips. Its IP66 rating is the real differentiator: the strip is protected against dust and water jets, so it holds up in damp and splash-prone spots where standard unrated tape fails. Because it's low voltage, cuts are simple, runs are flexible, and LED technology keeps energy use far below old halogen rope and incandescent accent lighting.

Put it to work in kitchens under upper cabinets, in basements and home theatres as a ceiling cove, in bathrooms and laundry rooms where humidity is a fact of life, in garages and workshops, or in commercial spaces like restaurants, salons, retail displays and gaming lounges that change their look for every season. It pairs naturally with an aluminum channel (a favourite Canadian search: profilé aluminium pour LED strip) to protect the tape and spread the light, and with an RGBW controller and remote. Need plain white instead of colour? Look at the LED strip 9.6W/m family, or stay in colour with the LED strip 14.4W/m (RGB). Roll out your next lighting idea today.

Built for real installations
This is a flexible RGBW LED tape supplied on a 5 m reel, designed to be installed straight onto clean, flat surfaces or, better yet, inside an aluminum extrusion. The RGBW format means colour LEDs and dedicated white LEDs share the same tape, so a single run handles both jobs: white light when you need to see what you're doing, colour when you want atmosphere. That saves you from installing two separate strips, two power supplies and two controllers in the same cove or cabinet — a big deal when space behind a valance or inside a channel is tight.

Electrical and installation notes
Because the strip is 12V low voltage, it needs a 12V driver (power supply) sized for the load — plan for the full 96W if you're powering the entire 5 m reel from one source, and remember that an RGBW strip is wired with a common line plus separate red, green, blue and white channels, so your controller, receiver and any extension wire must be five-conductor. Feed long runs from both ends or split them into shorter sections to keep colour consistent from start to finish, and cut only on the marked cut points. An aluminum profile with a diffuser is strongly recommended: it hides the individual diodes, gives you that clean line of light instead of dots, and helps the tape run cooler, which is how LED lighting earns its long life.

Where the IP66 rating pays off
With an IP66 rating, this tape is protected against dust and powerful water jets, which opens up locations plain indoor strip can't handle: bathroom vanities and shower surrounds, kitchen backsplashes, laundry rooms, basements, garages, workshops, covered porches and three-season rooms — all places where Canadian humidity, dust and the occasional splash are part of daily life. In commercial settings, think restaurant bars and booth lighting, salon stations, retail shelving and display cases, hotel corridors, gyms and gaming rooms where colour changes are part of the brand.

Compatibility and same-family options
Any RGBW controller and remote built for 12V four-channel-plus-white strip will drive this product; a wall-mounted or app-based controller works well for commercial rooms that need repeatable scenes. If your project also calls for fixed white accent runs, the same family offers LED strip 9.6W/m and the weather-protected LED strip 9.6W/m IP66, while a colour-only run can be handled by the LED strip 14.4W/m (RGB). There is also a version of this same RGBW strip in another reel format, the LED strip 12V 19.2W/m (RGBW). No spec sheet, IES file or video is posted for this item at the moment; if your project requires stamped documentation, ask before ordering so we can confirm what's available.
