Built for long, bright runsDensity is what separates a good
LED strip from a disappointing one. This tape carries
280 LEDs per meter on a 10 mm wide PCB, which puts the diodes close enough together to blend into one continuous line of light, especially behind a diffuser. The circuit board uses
3 oz copper, a heavier copper weight that helps carry current and dissipate heat across long installations — a real advantage when you are pushing 28.8W per meter. The strip is flexible, it follows curves and inside corners, and it can be cut to size every
25 mm (7 LEDs) at the marked cut points.
Light quality you can trustAt
3000K, the light is a warm white that flatters wood cabinetry, warm paint tones and natural stone — the go-to temperature for kitchens, living areas, bedrooms and hospitality spaces. A
CRI of 80+ keeps colours honest, and the
120º beam angle spreads light wide so a cove or cabinet interior washes evenly instead of showing hot spots. Efficacy is rated at
109 lumens per watt, which means a lot of usable light for the energy drawn — far less consumption than the halogen and xenon fixtures this kind of tape replaces.

Electrical and installation notesThis is a
24V DC product, so it requires a compatible 24V DC power supply sized for the total wattage of your run — at 28.8W per meter, load adds up quickly, so calculate before you buy the driver. Respect the
10 m maximum run length per feed and bring power from both ends or run parallel circuits on longer layouts to avoid voltage drop and colour shift at the far end. The strip is
dimmable, so pair it with a dimming-capable 24V driver and control for cove lighting you can bring down in the evening. With an
IP22 rating, it belongs in dry indoor locations; keep it out of showers, exteriors and other wet areas. Mounting it in an aluminum extrusion with a diffuser is strongly recommended at this power level — it protects the tape, spreads the light and helps with heat.
Where it works and what else to look atThink perimeter cove lighting in a living room, under-cabinet task light in a kitchen, backlit bathroom mirrors and niches, illuminated shelving in a boutique, bar fronts and display cases in a restaurant, reception desks and corridor details in an office or condo lobby. Need a crisper, more neutral white for a workspace or commercial fit-out? The
LED strip 24V 28.8W/m IP22 (40K) is the same platform at 4000K. For colour-changing accents on the same 24V system, see the
LED strip 14.4W/m 24V 72W RGB IP22, or the tunable
LED strip 20W/m 24V 100W IP22 (CCT). The complete technical PDF spec sheet for this model is available in the Documentation tab for your submittals and installation planning.
