Built for a clean, dot-free line of lightThe heart of this
24V LED strip is a high-density array of
128 Epistar 2835 SMD chips per metre. Packing that many emitters into each metre is what erases the "dots" you see on cheaper, low-density tape, especially when the strip sits close to a wall, a countertop or the inside face of a cove. The flexible circuit board is 10 mm wide, built on a 3 oz. copper PCB that helps pull heat away from the diodes and keeps output stable over long runs. With a 120º lighting angle, the beam opens wide and blends quickly, so a single line of tape can wash an entire ceiling reveal or backsplash evenly.
Light quality you can trust on finishesAt
3000K, this strip sits firmly in the warm white family — the tone most Canadian homeowners choose for living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms and hospitality spaces because it feels relaxed and inviting after dark. Paired with a
CRI of 90+, colours stay honest: oak and walnut look rich rather than yellow, whites stay clean, and merchandise or artwork is rendered the way it was meant to be seen. Output is rated at
19.2W per metre with an efficacy of
120 lm/W, which means real, usable brightness for cutting vegetables, reading a menu or lighting a display case — not just a decorative glow.

Wiring, dimming and installationRunning on
24V DC instead of 12V means less voltage drop over distance and longer continuous runs — here, up to
10 m from a feed. Cut only on the marked points every 62.5 mm (8 LEDs) so each segment stays complete, and calculate your total load before choosing a driver: at 19.2W per metre, a 5 m run draws 96W, so size the power supply with headroom. The strip is
dimmable with compatible 24V dimming controls, which lets you drop a kitchen or lounge down to a soft evening level. For feed wires and long home runs, the 24V voltage drop chart included in the Documentation tab tells you exactly how far you can go with each wire gauge before losses become a problem. Mounting inside an aluminum extrusion with a diffuser is strongly recommended for finished work: it protects the tape, spreads the light and gives the installation a factory-made look.
Where it works and what goes with itThink under-cabinet and toe-kick lighting, ceiling coves and drop bulkheads, floating shelves, closet interiors, stair nosings, headboard niches, bar fronts, retail shelving, reception counters and illuminated signage. With an
IP22 rating it belongs in dry indoor locations; for showers, exteriors, soffits and other wet or damp spots, choose the
IP66 version of this 19.2W/m strip in 3000K. Matching the tone across a whole home is easy: the same strip exists in
2700K,
4000K and
5000K for offices, garages and workshops. The Documentation tab holds the full technical spec sheet and the 12V–24V voltage drop chart, everything your electrician needs before the drywall goes up.
