SKU: LCLS24V-24W-27K-IP66-30M

Brand: LEDCO

Soft, flattering light exactly where you want it — that's what a good LED strip does, and this 24V ribbon is built to do it for years. Known on job sites and in search bars as LED strip lighting, LED light strips, LED tape or simply strip lights, this model (SKU LCLS24V-24W-27K-IP66-30M) comes on a 30 m roll of warm 2700K light that you cut to length and tuck under cabinets, into coves, along stair nosings, behind headboards, inside display cases or under a bathroom vanity. It's the discreet workhorse of modern lighting design: you see the glow, not the fixture.

Under the hood, 64 LEDs per metre on an 8 mm wide PCB deliver a gentle 4.8W per metre at a very efficient 130 lm/W, with a CRI of 90+ so wood grain, countertops, skin tones and fabrics look true instead of washed out. The 2700K colour temperature gives that cozy incandescent warmth people love at home, spread evenly by a 120º beam angle. It runs on 24V DC, it is dimmable, the 3 oz copper PCB helps it stay cool and stable over long runs, and it is UL listed with a rated lifespan of 50 000+ hours. Cut points every 125 mm (8 LEDs) let you land each run precisely, with a maximum run of 10 m per feed.

Kitchens, basements, condos, hotel corridors, restaurants, boutiques, offices, reception desks and retail shelving — anywhere a Canadian renovation or build needs warm, even, low-profile light, this tape earns its place. Pair it with a 24V DC driver sized to your total wattage, add an aluminum channel with a diffuser for a clean finished line, and plan your feed points before you cut. Prefer a different white? The same 4.8W/M platform is offered in LED strip 24V 3000K IP22, LED strip 24V 4000K IP22 and LED strip 4.8W/M 24V 30K IP66. Roll it out and light your project the right way.

Built for long, clean runs
This LED tape uses Epistar 3528 SMD chips, 64 pcs per metre, mounted on a slim 8 mm PCB that slips into most standard aluminum extrusions and tight coves. The circuit board is built with 3 oz copper, a heavier copper weight that helps carry current and dissipate heat over long runs — one of the details that separates a strip that stays bright from one that fades. The roll is supplied in a 30 m length and cuts cleanly every 125 mm (8 LEDs) at the marked cut lines, so you can tailor each shelf, cove or stair to the millimetre.

Light quality you can see
At 2700K, the light is warm and welcoming — the tone most homeowners associate with a cozy living room or a hospitality lobby. What really sets it apart is the CRI 90+ rendering: colours stay honest, so white quartz looks white, walnut looks warm and merchandise looks like it does in daylight. The 120º beam angle spreads light broadly, which is exactly what you want behind a diffuser, where a wide angle eliminates the dotted "hot spot" look. With 130 lm/W efficiency at only 4.8W/M, you get accent and task light without loading up the panel.

Electrical and installation
The strip runs on 24V DC, so you'll need a low-voltage driver sized to the total load of your run (metres × 4.8W, plus headroom). Respect the 10 m maximum length per feed: for longer installations, run a home-run feed to each section rather than daisy-chaining beyond that limit, to avoid voltage drop and uneven brightness. The strip is dimmable, so pair it with a compatible dimming driver or controller when you want scene control in a kitchen, bedroom or dining room. Clean the surface before applying, use an aluminum profile with a diffuser wherever the tape is visible, and solder or use proper connectors at cut points. The product is UL listed, which matters for permits and inspections on Canadian residential and commercial projects.

Applications, family and documentation
Think under-cabinet lighting in a kitchen, toe-kick and stair lighting in a basement renovation, cove lighting in a condo living room, shelf and display lighting in a boutique, backlit mirrors in a bathroom, or soffit detail in a restaurant.
