Built for clean, continuous lightThis
LED tape light is built on an
8mm wide PCB with
3oz. copper, a heavier copper weight that helps carry current and move heat away from the diodes along long runs. The emitters are
Epistar 3528 SMD chips packed at
64 LEDs per meter, close enough spacing to read as a smooth line of light once it sits behind a diffuser. The strip is flexible, so it follows curves, coves and rounded millwork, and it can be cut to length every
125mm (8 LED) at the marked cut points — handy when a shelf, a stair or a cabinet run doesn't finish on a round number.
Light quality you can actually seeAt
2700K, the light is warm and welcoming, closest to the incandescent look most homeowners still ask for in living rooms, bedrooms and hospitality spaces. What really sets this
LED strip lighting apart is its
CRI of 90+: colours stay honest, whites stay clean, and there's no muddy or greenish cast on countertops, fabrics or artwork. With
130 LM/W of efficacy and a
120º beam angle, you get wide, even coverage from a strip that only draws
4.8W per metre (±10%) — a fraction of what an old halogen or incandescent cove would burn, and cool enough to live comfortably inside millwork.

Wiring, dimming and installationThis is a
24V DC low-voltage product, so it must be fed by a 24V DC LED driver or power supply sized for the total wattage of your run, plus headroom. Respect the
max length of 10m per power feed; for longer installations, run a second feed from the driver rather than extending one continuous line, and use the
125mm cut marks whenever you shorten a section. The tape is
dimmable when paired with a compatible dimming driver or in-line dimmer. Mount it on a clean, dry, degreased surface — an aluminum profile with a frosted lens is strongly recommended under cabinets and in coves, since it hides the diodes, protects the circuit and helps with heat. With an
IP22 rating, keep it to indoor dry locations; for wet or washdown areas, choose an IP66 strip instead.
Applications, family and documentationThink under-cabinet and under-counter lighting, cove and tray ceilings, pantry and closet shelving, headboards, backlit bathroom mirrors, retail display cases, bar fronts, restaurant banquettes and office reception walls — plus accent runs in basements and home theatres. The 30-metre roll keeps big jobs tidy with fewer splices. The same 4.8W/m platform is offered in
3500K neutral warm and
4000K if you need a crisper tone, while brighter rooms may call for the
9.6W/m strip or colour-changing work is handled by the
RGB 14.4W/m strip. The full technical PDF (LCLS24V-24W-27K-IP22-30M Spec Sheet) is in the Documentation tab with dimensions, cut points and the complete colour temperature ordering guide.
