Built to be hidden, built to lastThis
LED tape light is a flexible circuit board just
8 mm wide, thin enough to disappear inside a cove, a millwork reveal or a slim aluminum extrusion. It carries
64 LEDs per meter of Epistar 3528 SMD chips on a
3 oz copper PCB — heavier copper means better heat transfer and steadier performance over long runs, which is exactly what you want when a strip is buried behind a drywall detail and rarely touched again. Rated for
50 000+ hours, it is a set-and-forget light source for both residential and commercial projects.
Light quality you can seeAt
3000K, the light is warm white — friendly in a kitchen, flattering in a bedroom, appetizing over a bar. What really separates this
led strip lighting from generic tape is the
CRI 90+ colour rendering: reds stay red, oak stays oak, and merchandise on a shelf looks like it does in daylight. Efficiency sits at
130 LM/W, and the
120º beam angle spreads the output wide so a diffuser turns 64 individual points into one clean line of light instead of a row of dots.

Wiring, cutting and dimmingThe strip runs on
24V DC, so it must be fed by a low-voltage LED driver sized for your total wattage — count 4.8 W for every meter installed, then leave headroom on the driver. Respect the
10 m maximum run per feed; longer installations are simply split into several runs fed from the same power source to avoid voltage drop at the far end. Cut only on the marked
125 mm (8 LED) increments, keep the polarity straight when you solder or use a connector, and clean the surface before pressing the tape down so the adhesive grabs. Because the strip is
dimmable, you can put it on a compatible low-voltage dimming control for full-bright task lighting in the evening and a soft ambient level after hours.
Where it works, and what goes with itThink under-cabinet lighting in a kitchen, toe-kick and vanity glow in a bathroom, cove lighting in a living room tray ceiling, stair nosing in a basement renovation, backlit shelving in a boutique, menu boards and back-bar displays in a restaurant, reception desks and corridor coves in an office or clinic. An aluminum profile with a frosted lens is strongly recommended for any visible installation. Need another white point or more punch? Compare with the
