Built for real installationsThis flexible
LED tape is built on an
8mm wide printed circuit board with a generous
3oz. copper thickness — heavier copper means better heat dissipation and steadier light output over the years.
64 LEDs per meter of
Epistar 3528 SMD chips are spaced tightly enough to blend into a soft line rather than a row of dots, especially behind a diffuser. The strip is rated
IP66, so dust, splashes and damp corners are no longer a reason to skip accent lighting in a garage, workshop or utility room.
Light quality you can seeWith
CRI 90+, colours stay honest: white cabinetry looks white, walnut looks warm, and merchandise on a shelf looks like it does in daylight. The
3500K colour temperature is the diplomatic choice — softer than an office white, cleaner than a warm bulb — which makes it a favourite for kitchens, bathrooms and retail counters. A
120º lighting angle spreads light wide and even, and an output of
130 LM/W from just
4.8W/M ±10% means a long cove run stays gentle on your circuit.

Wiring and installationThe strip runs on
24V DC, which lets you feed longer sections from a single point compared with lower-voltage tape. Size your power supply to the total wattage of the run (
4.8W/M multiplied by your length) and keep a little headroom. Never exceed the
max length of 10m per run; for longer layouts, feed additional runs from the supply rather than chaining them end to end. Cut only at the marked
125mm (8 LED) points, clean the surface before sticking the tape down, and mount it in an aluminum profile with a diffuser when the strip will be visible — the channel hides the dots and helps the LEDs run cooler. The strip is
dimmable, so pair it with a dimming-capable 24V driver or an in-line dimmer for mood control in bedrooms, dining rooms and lounges.
Applications, family and documentationThink under-cabinet task light in a kitchen, toe-kick glow in a bathroom, cove lighting in a basement ceiling, shelf lighting in a boutique, bar and counter fronts in a café, or a bright, wipeable line of light in a garage or laundry room. If you prefer a warmer or cooler ambience in the same format, look at the IP22 versions of this tape:
LED strip 24V 4.8W/m IP22 (27K),
LED strip 24V 4.8W/m IP22 (30K) or
LED strip 24V 4.8W/m IP22 (50K). For colour-changing projects, the
LED strip 14.4W/m 24V 72W RGB IP66 shares the same 24V platform. The full technical PDF for this model is in the Documentation tab — download it before you order your driver and profiles.
