Built for smooth, continuous lightThis
RGBW LED tape packs
120 LEDs per metre onto a 12 mm wide, 2 oz density white PCB. That copper weight matters: it spreads heat better and helps keep colour and output stable over long runs, which is exactly what you want in a cove that will stay lit eight hours a day. Each 50 mm segment carries red, green, blue and white emitters together, so colour mixing happens close to the source and you get a blended wash rather than visible red-green-blue spotting. The strip arrives on 5 m reels with 3M double-sided tape already applied for mounting on clean, non-porous surfaces such as aluminium channel, painted MDF, glass or finished millwork.
Light quality you can trustThe dedicated white channel is
3500K — a neutral, friendly white that flatters wood, stone and paint without going yellow or clinical — and it delivers
CRI 90+, so merchandise, food and finishes look the way they should. The
120º beam angle means the light opens up quickly, filling a cove or a shelf without hot spots. Because the white chip is separate from the RGB chips, you can run pure white for daily use, pure colour for effect, or mix both for pastel and tinted washes that a plain RGB strip simply can't produce.

Wiring, control and installationRun it on a
24V DC supply sized for the load, remembering the draw is 19.2W per metre before any losses, and always leave headroom on the driver. The spec sheet includes a connection guide:
parallel connections are strongly recommended, and a middle connection — feeding power into the centre of a longer line — keeps the far end from dimming and protects the strip over time. Do not exceed the recommended run length on a single feed. Cut only on the marked 50 mm points, solder or use proper connectors on the 24V+, R, G, B and W pads, and keep polarity consistent from segment to segment. Control is flexible: DMX for architectural and stage-style scenes, PWM or RF PWM for simple colour remotes and wall controllers, 0-10V or MLV incandescent dimming where the white channel is tied into a house dimming system. With an
IP22 rating this is an indoor product — for splash-prone or outdoor locations, a waterproof IP66 version of the family is the right call.
Where it earns its place, and what pairs with itThink ceiling coves in condos and basements, under-cabinet and island lighting in kitchens, bar fronts and back-bars, retail display cases and feature walls, home theatres, gaming rooms, hotel corridors, salons and reception desks. Mounted inside an aluminium extrusion with a diffuser, it reads as a clean line of light rather than individual diodes. If part of your project only needs static white, the
LED strip 19.2W/m 24V 96W 30K IP66 matches the same 19.2W/m output, the
LED strip 20W/m 24V 100W IP22 CCT offers tunable white, and the
LED strip 14.4W/m 24V 72W RGB IP22 covers colour-only zones. The full technical PDF (LCLS24V-96W-RGBW35K-IP22-30M Spec Sheet), including the parallel and middle connection diagrams, is in the Documentation tab.
