Built to run long and stay brightThis
RGBW LED tape is built on a
12 mm wide PCB with
3 oz copper, a heavier copper weight that pulls heat away from the diodes and helps the strip hold its output over time — exactly what you want inside a closed aluminum channel or a tight cove. With
60 LEDs per meter, the emitters sit close enough together to read as a line of light rather than a row of dots once a diffuser is added. The flexible circuit follows curves, wraps corners in coves and tucks into shallow reveals, and it can be shortened at the marked
cut points every 100 mm so a run finishes exactly where the millwork does.
Colour and white on the same stripRGBW means four channels: red, green and blue for saturated colour and dynamic scenes, plus a dedicated white channel for everyday, usable light. That is the advantage over a standard RGB tape, where "white" is only a mix of colours. With a
CRI of 90+, whites stay clean and materials keep their real colour — a detail that matters over a kitchen counter, in a retail display, or anywhere food, fabric or finishes are on show. The
120º lighting angle gives a wide, even wash with no hot spots down the length of a cove, shelf or handrail.

Wiring, dimming and installationThe strip runs on
24V DC, so plan a low-voltage driver with enough capacity for your total length, keeping in mind the
19.2W per metre draw and the
10 m maximum run per feed — longer installations should be split and fed from both ends or from multiple home runs to avoid voltage drop and colour shift at the far end. Because it is an RGBW tape, it uses a five-conductor connection (common plus R, G, B and W) and needs an
RGBW controller or remote rather than a simple line-voltage dimmer; the strip itself is
dimmable through that controller. Clean the mounting surface before sticking the tape, mount it in an aluminum profile wherever it will be visible or handled, and solder or use proper connectors at every cut. The product is
UL listed, which keeps inspections straightforward on residential and commercial jobs in Canada.
Where to use it, and what else to look atThink ceiling coves in a living room or primary bedroom, under-cabinet and toe-kick lighting in a kitchen, stair risers and hallway niches, backlit bathroom mirrors, bar and reception desk fronts, display shelving in a boutique, or accent colour in a home theatre or gaming room. For a restaurant or salon, one run can go from warm white service light to a branded colour for evenings. If your project calls for a lower output on the same 24V platform, consider the
LED strip 9.6W/m 24V 48W 30K IP66 or the
LED strip 4.8W/m 24V 24W 30K IP66; for tunable white instead of colour, the
LED strip 20W/m 24V 100W IP22 CCT is a strong match. The full
technical spec sheet for this LED strip is available in the Documentation tab for your drawings and submittals.
