Built for continuous, dot-free lightThis is a high-density tape: 128 Epistar 2835 SMD chips per metre on a 10 mm wide flexible PCB. That density is what kills the "string of dots" effect — with a 120º lighting angle and a diffuser or aluminum channel, you get an even line of light instead of hot spots. The circuit board is built with 3 oz copper, a heavier copper weight that helps carry current and move heat away from the diodes over long runs, which matters when you are pushing 19.2 W/m. Cut marks fall every 62.5 mm (8 LEDs), so you can trim the tape to a shelf, a cabinet or a stair nosing without wasting material.
Light quality you can trustThe 4000K neutral white is the workhorse colour temperature for kitchens, bathrooms, offices and retail: brighter and more modern than warm white, without the clinical edge of a cool daylight tone. Paired with
CRI 90+, colours stay true — skin tones in a bathroom mirror, produce in a display case, fabric in a boutique, stain on custom millwork. Efficiency is rated at 120 lm/W, so you get serious output per watt and a rated life of 50 000+ hours, which keeps maintenance calls and re-lamping off your schedule.

Wiring, dimming and installationThe tape runs on
24V DC, so it needs a compatible low-voltage driver or power supply sized for your total load: multiply 19.2 W by the number of metres installed and add headroom. Respect the 10 m maximum run per feed — beyond that, run a new home run from the power supply rather than extending the same length of tape, to avoid voltage drop and a dimmer end. The strip is
dimmable through the driver/control system, which lets you set a bright work level under cabinets and a soft evening level in the same space. Clean and dry the surface before applying, mount in an aluminum
LED channel wherever the tape is visible or runs long — the extrusion diffuses the light and acts as a heat sink — and keep cuts on the marked lines so the solder pads stay usable.
Applications, options and documentationTypical jobs: under-cabinet kitchen lighting, cove and tray ceilings, backlit bathroom mirrors, closet and pantry shelving, stair and corridor accents, reception desks, display cases, bar fronts and store shelving. The IP22 rating keeps this one in dry indoor locations; for damp, wet or exterior work pick an IP66 tape such as the
LED strip 9.6W/M 24V 48W 30K IP66. Need less output for a subtle accent? See the
LED strip 24V 4.8W/M IP22 (30K). For adjustable white, the
LED strip 20W/M 24V 100W IP22 (CCT) is a good alternative, and colour-changing projects can use the
LED strip 14.4W/M 24V 72W RGB IP22. The full technical PDF spec sheet for this model is in the Documentation tab.
