Built for real projects, not just accent glowThis is a high-output
24V LED strip rather than a decorative novelty tape. The flexible circuit carries 128
Epistar 2835 SMD diodes per meter on a 10 mm wide PCB, and that density is what kills the "dotted" look when you install close to a surface or behind a diffuser. The 3 oz copper PCB thickness matters more than most people realize: thicker copper spreads heat away from the diodes, which helps the strip hold its output and colour over its 50 000+ hour lifespan. Cut points are marked every 62.5 mm (8 LEDs), so you can tailor each run to the millimetre of your cabinet, shelf or cove.
Light quality you can trustWith
CRI 90+ and 120 LM/W, this tape delivers both efficiency and honest colour. High CRI is what makes food look appetizing in a display case, fabric colours read correctly in a boutique, and paint or tile look the way your client chose it. The 5000K colour temperature of this model gives a crisp daylight white — the go-to choice for garages, workshops, utility rooms, task areas and commercial spaces where alertness and visibility come first. The 120º beam angle spreads light broadly, so a single run inside a cove or under a cabinet washes the surface evenly instead of throwing a narrow stripe.

Electrical and installation notesPlan your layout before you peel anything. The strip runs on
24V DC, so it needs a 24V power supply sized for the total load — count 19.2W per meter, add headroom, and remember the maximum run is 10 m from a single feed; longer installations should be split into separate runs fed in parallel rather than end to end. The strip is
dimmable, so pair it with a compatible 24V dimming setup when you want mood control in a kitchen, bedroom cove or restaurant. Cut only on the marked 62.5 mm points, solder or use proper connectors at the cut, and mount on a clean, dry surface. An aluminum extrusion with a diffuser is the pro move: it hides the diodes, protects the tape and pulls heat away. The
IP22 rating means indoor, dry locations only — for wet or washdown areas, choose an IP66 version such as the
LED strip 19.2W/M IP66.
Applications, alternatives and documentationConcrete examples: under-cabinet task lighting over a kitchen counter, a continuous cove line around a living room ceiling, backlighting for a bathroom mirror, shelf lighting in a retail display, workbench lighting in a garage, and toe-kick or stair lighting in a finished basement. If your project needs less output, the
LED strip 4.8W/M 24V is a gentler accent option; for colour-changing effects, look at the
RGB LED strip 14.4W/M IP22; and for adjustable white, the
CCT LED strip 20W/M lets you tune the ambiance. The full technical PDF for this model is in the Documentation tab — download it for your submittals, electrician or building inspector.
