A line of light that can hang or sit
The #88 is designed for surface or suspended installation. Suspended, it becomes a linear LED pendant over a table, a counter or a workstation; mounted on a surface, it can even attach to thin materials that do not have sufficient thickness for conventional brackets, thanks to its dorsal rail and butterfly clips. That flexibility makes it a smart choice for commercial fit-outs where the ceiling, the furniture and the displays all call for the same clean line of light.
Opaque lens and quality aluminum
This version, LCPROF-88-16FT-LENS-OPAQ, comes with an opaque lens: the light of the strip is spread into a smooth line and the source stays out of sight, just as the #88 was designed to do. The profile is made of 6063-T5 aluminum in a plain aluminum finish that can be painted to match your decor, and it accommodates white as well as RGB and RGBW LED strips. It can be installed indoors or outdoors.
Installation and ordering options
Plan the layout with the technical drawing, which gives the dimensions of the section in millimetres and inches. The butterfly clips provide easy and secure installation, and the ordering guide lists end caps without a hole, with a hole, or one of each, to finish both ends neatly. For a suspended installation, check the ceiling structure before hanging a 16 ft run. Keep the LED power supply accessible and have any line-voltage connection made by a licensed electrician. Outdoors, use an LED strip rated for the location.
