Clean lines for light-coloured slat walls
The #80 is one of the most compact LED profiles in the range, with an ultra-slim format created for slat walls, decorative panels and tight spaces. On pale wood or white panels, the aluminum finish stays understated and complements brushed hardware, stainless appliances and light metal accents. Because the profile is so slim, it can sit along the edge of a slat, under a floating shelf or inside a shallow reveal. With the opaque lens in place, you see the lens rather than the LED chips, which keeps the discreet light lines looking tidy.
Why an opaque lens
A bare LED strip can show its individual points of light, especially when the profile sits at eye level or is reflected in a glossy surface. The opaque lens covers the strip, so the eye sees the lens rather than the strip, a detail appreciated in offices, waiting rooms and bedrooms. The colour temperature and brightness come from the LED strip you choose: a warm white for living spaces, a neutral or cool white for work areas.
Installation
Made of 6063-T5 aluminum for efficient heat dissipation, the profile accepts 8 mm wide LED strips and can be surface mounted or suspended. On a slat wall, decide where each profile, power supply and cable will go before closing the last slats, mark the cable exit points before drilling, and test the strip before everything is closed up. The 16 foot length is perfect for long runs; for a special layout, custom fabrication is available. Leave the power supply accessible and have any line-voltage connection done by a licensed electrician.
