Architectural lines for bright spaces
The #81 is a large-format suspended profile with a square cross-section of 25 x 25 mm, designed for commercial and architectural projects. In aluminum finish with the opaque lens, it suits bright, contemporary interiors: the metal body echoes window frames, glass partitions and light fixtures, while the lens hides the strip for a tidy appearance. The 6063-T5 aluminum body provides excellent heat dissipation for the strip it houses.
The role of the opaque lens
In offices and classrooms, people spend hours under the light and often look up from their screens. The opaque lens covers the strip, so they see the lens rather than the LED strip itself. The colour temperature and brightness come from the LED strip you select: neutral white is a common choice for workspaces and learning areas, while warm white suits reception areas and waiting rooms.
Mounting and layout
Use the dedicated suspension kits to hang the profile over desks and tables, or mount it directly on the ceiling for a clean line. Plan the suspension points, the location of the power supply and the power feed with your electrician, and consider parallel rows for large rooms or a single long run for corridors. In schools and healthcare settings, coordinate the layout with the ceiling grid and sprinkler heads early in the project, and keep the LED driver accessible for maintenance. The 16 foot length reduces the number of joints; custom fabrication is available for special layouts. Line-voltage connections must be completed by a licensed electrician.
