Frosted lens, softer light
A bare LED strip shows every diode. The frosted lens of this version spreads the light into a smooth, even line, which makes all the difference when the profile sits at eye level, on a display shelf or above a counter. The #88 was designed to make the light source invisible, and the frosted cover completes that effect for clean, diffused LED lighting that is comfortable to look at.
Dorsal rail and butterfly clips
The signature feature of the 88 series is its mounting system. Its dorsal rail and butterfly clips allow the profile to be attached to thin materials that do not have sufficient thickness for conventional brackets: thin shelves, display panels, furniture parts or sign boards. Designed for surface or suspended installation, the #88 gives you real options when ordinary brackets are ruled out, and the butterfly clips keep the installation easy and secure.
Built for indoor and outdoor projects
Made of 6063-T5 aluminum, the profile can be installed both indoors and outdoors, and it can be painted to match your decor. It accommodates a variety of white and colour strips, including RGB and RGBW LED strips, for task lighting as well as colour effects. Plan the layout with the technical drawing of the spec sheet, keep the LED power supply in an accessible spot, choose an outdoor-rated strip for exterior projects and have any line-voltage connection made by a licensed electrician. Custom fabrication is available when a project calls for a specific length.
