Built around Epistar 2835 chips
What makes this G9 LED bulb different from a no-name capsule is what's inside: 45 x 2835 SMD LEDs from Epistar, arranged around the body and sealed behind a clear lens. The plastic coating and base wrap the diodes completely, so there's no exposed circuit board and no glass to shatter when you're twisting the bulb into a tight chandelier arm. At 44 mm long (49 mm with pins) and 17 mm wide, it keeps the compact silhouette of the halogen capsule it replaces, which matters in fixtures with small glass shades or open sockets where the bulb is part of the look.
Light quality you can live with
The 360-degree beam angle is the detail people notice first. Many cheap G9 retrofits throw light only forward, leaving dark shadows in the upper half of a shade; this one lights all around, the way a halogen capsule always did. With 300 lumens per bulb and a CRI of 80, a four- or six-light fixture gives you a comfortable, even wash of light with honest colour rendering. Warm white 3000K suits dining rooms, bedrooms and hospitality spaces where you want that soft, golden halogen feeling; cool white 6500K is the choice for bathrooms, makeup mirrors, garages and workshops where you want maximum visual clarity.

Installation and electrical notes
Installation takes seconds: cut the power, let the old halogen capsule cool, pull it straight out of the two-pin socket and push the LED bulb in until the pins seat fully. No wiring, no driver, no transformer — the bulb runs directly on AC110-130V line voltage, the standard in Canadian homes and businesses. The one rule to respect: this bulb is not compatible with dimmers. Connecting it to a dimmer circuit, even at full brightness, will permanently damage it, so either replace the dimmer with a standard switch or choose a dimmable bulb for that circuit. In a multi-socket fixture, replace every capsule at the same time and with the same colour temperature so the whole chandelier reads as one consistent light.
Where it works and what's in the Documentation tab
Think of every fixture that still uses a little two-pin capsule: crystal and modern chandeliers, bathroom vanity bars, wall sconces in hallways and stairwells, mini pendants over a kitchen island, picture lights, display cabinets, range hoods, desk and floor lamps, plus commercial spots like hotel corridors, restaurant dining rooms, hair salons, boutiques and reception areas. Because each bulb pulls only 3 W, a six-light chandelier that once burned hot now runs cool and quiet on a fraction of the energy, using up to 80% less than the halogen capsules it replaces.
