Built for 12V DC circuits
Most screw-in bulbs assume a standard household supply. This 12V DC E27 7W dimmable LED light bulb does not: it is engineered for low-voltage DC systems, the kind you find in recreational vehicles, marine installations, off-grid cabins and any circuit fed by solar panels, a wind turbine or a battery bank. The familiar A19 shape and E27 screw-on socket mean it installs exactly like the bulb it replaces, so you keep your existing lamps, sconces and fixtures and simply upgrade what goes inside them. Because it is a DC bulb, it should only be used on the 12V DC circuit it was designed for.
Light quality and output
The Epistar chip inside is the reason this 7W LED bulb punches so far above its power draw. It is bright enough to stand in for a standard 60W incandescent bulb, while pulling only a fraction of the energy, which is exactly what you want when your electricity comes out of a battery instead of a wall. This SKU is the 3000K Warm White version: a soft, golden-white light that flatters wood, fabric and skin tones, ideal for sleeping areas, lounges and anywhere you want the space to feel like home rather than a workshop. A cool white option exists in the same family if you prefer a brighter, more clinical tone for galley work, reading or task areas.
Dimming and installation
Unlike many low-voltage bulbs, this one is dimmable with most standard dimmers, so you can bring the level down for evenings, naps, dinners or late arrivals without adding extra hardware. Installation is as simple as it gets: cut the power at the breaker or battery disconnect, unscrew the old bulb, screw this one into the E27 socket, restore power. As with any dimmable LED, we suggest testing your specific dimmer with one bulb first, then equipping the rest of the circuit once you are happy with the dimming range and stability.

Applications and documentation
Think of a travel trailer where every amp-hour counts, a sailboat cabin running off the house bank, a hunting camp powered by two solar panels, or a seasonal cottage that never got connected to the grid: in all of those, a low-voltage E27 LED bulb means longer evenings of light and far fewer bulb changes. It also fits automotive and battery-powered setups, as well as residential and commercial projects that already run a dedicated 12V lighting circuit for displays or accent fixtures. The technical PDF for this bulb is available in the Documentation tab of this page, so you can confirm the model code and colour temperature before ordering for a full rig, boat or cabin.
