Angles made easy
The FC6105-BN flexible connector links two lengths of track and lets you set the angle between them during installation. That freedom means the track no longer has to run straight from one end of the room to the other: it can bend around a corner, follow a bay window, step around a beam or create a zigzag for a more dynamic ceiling. The circuit continues through the connector, so the second section is powered like the first and every track light head along the run can be switched on.
Where it helps most
Kitchens with an L or U shape, open concept spaces where the lighting should flow from the kitchen to the dining area, lofts and cottages with a cathedral ceiling, and older homes where walls are rarely square all benefit from a flexible joiner. In commercial spaces such as boutiques, jewellery counters, salons and small galleries, it lets the track follow the display walls so every shelf, station or artwork gets its own light.
Installation tips
Draw the full path of the track on the ceiling first and mark each change of direction. Turn the power off at the panel, insert the connector into the ends of the two sections, set the angle, then fasten both sections before adding the heads. Use a connector from the same track system as your sections and power feed, and have a qualified electrician complete the installation according to the electrical code of your province.
Why brushed nickel
The brushed nickel finish has a fine satin grain that softens reflections and hides fingerprints better than polished metal. It matches nickel faucets, cabinet pulls and stainless appliances, and it works with warm wood tones as well as cool greys and whites. On a white ceiling, it reads as a light, elegant metal line that suits classic, transitional and modern interiors.
Care and planning
Dust the connector with a soft dry cloth when needed, with the power off, and avoid abrasive cleaners on the brushed surface. Keep the SKU FC6105-BN on your parts list, because layouts with several turns need several connectors, and using the same one everywhere keeps your track lighting consistent from end to end.
