Built for direct 110V wiring
The whole point of this set is simplicity. Traditional low-voltage sign lighting forces you to size a driver, find a spot to hide it and cap your run at a limited number of modules. These modules use an alternating current driving mode and connect directly to a 110V AC supply through a standard junction box, so a single row can carry up to 100 modules with no brightness drop from one end to the other. The interconnecting wires are 24 AWG and measure 125 mm between modules, giving an extended length of 19.1 m for the complete set of 100 — one continuous run for most storefront signs and light boxes.
Light quality and coverage
Each module houses 3 Epistar 2835 LEDs producing 150 lumens for 1.5W, projected through a 160° beam angle. That wide spread is what keeps backlit faces looking smooth: light overlaps between rows instead of punching visible dots through the acrylic. Two colour temperatures are offered — cool white at 6000-7000K for a crisp, high-impact commercial look, and warm white at 3000-3500K for a softer, more inviting glow behind wood, amber acrylic or hospitality signage. The modules are not dimmable, so plan your layout around full output.

Installation tips
Each module is self-adhesive and also has a screw holder, which is the detail installers appreciate: the tape holds the module in place while you position the row, and the screw guarantees it stays there for years inside a sign cabinet that heats up in the sun. Clean the surface before sticking, keep rows 8-15 cm apart and respect a cabinet depth of 6-18 cm so the 160° beams blend before they reach the face. Because these 120V LED modules run on line voltage, all connections must be made in a proper junction box and wired by someone comfortable with line-voltage work or by a licensed electrician, following the Canadian Electrical Code and your local requirements. The IP67 rating and the -40 to 60°C operating range let you use them in exterior sign cabinets across Canada, from a Montréal January to an August heat wave.
Applications and documentation
Think storefront and pylon signs, channel letters, backlit menu boards at a café, pharmacy or dépanneur, real-estate and bus-shelter light boxes, tradeshow booths, backlit bar and retail shelving, illuminated house numbers, and DIY light tables for tracing, quilting or photography. Contractors like them for fast retrofits of aging fluorescent sign cabinets, where a single 110V feed replaces ballasts and tubes. The complete technical spec sheet for this LED module string is available in the Documentation tab, with dimensions, spacing and electrical data to help you plan module counts before you cut a single wire.
