Built for long runs
The whole point of a 120V LED strip is scale. Most low-voltage tape tops out after a few metres before voltage drop starts dimming the far end, which means more drivers, more junction boxes and more places for something to go wrong. This roll runs 25 metres from one power point, drawing 12W per metre, and it does it with a flat, flexible body measuring L5000cm x W1.4cm x H0.7cm — narrow enough to tuck into a soffit, a cove, a cabinet reveal or an aluminum channel, sturdy enough to be clipped along a fence or a roof edge. The strip is not self-adhesive, which is actually good news outdoors: tape alone never survives a Canadian winter anyway, so you pre-position with double-sided mounting tape and then secure the run properly with mounting clips.
Light quality you can live with
Density is what separates a good strip from a dotty one. With 118 SMD 2835 chips per metre spaced 8MM apart, the line reads as light rather than as a row of points, especially behind a diffuser. Output is 1200 lumens per metre with a 120-degree beam pattern, so a single run washes a wall or a ceiling plane evenly. CRI Ra 82 keeps skin tones, wood grain and product colours natural — a real consideration for retail shelving, bar backs and display cases. Three single-colour options let you set the mood: Warm White (3000k to 3200k) for patios, decks and living spaces, Natural White (4000k to 4200k) for kitchens, workshops and offices, Cool White (5000k to 5200k) for garages, storage areas and crisp architectural accents.

Installation and electrical notes
Plan your run first: the strip can be shortened at the marked cut lines every 33cm, so measure your roofline, fence or cove and land your cut on a marker rather than mid-segment. Because the system is designed for a 120V outlet, there is no separate low-voltage driver to hide and no voltage-drop calculation across the length — one feed powers the set. Respect the working temperature range of -4°F (-20°C) to 122°F (50°C) for outdoor installs, keep any connection points sealed and oriented so water drains away, and remember the strip is not dimmable: pair it with a simple on/off switch, a timer or a smart plug rather than a wall dimmer. Inside an aluminum profile with a frosted lens, the same run turns into a clean architectural line with zero visible chips.
Where it works and what's documented
Homeowners use this IP67 waterproof LED strip for roof edges, gazebos, pergolas, cabanas, deck skirting, garage ceilings and basement coves. Contractors and small businesses run it around storefront perimeters, under canopies, along warehouse racking, in restaurant patios and in sign boxes where 25 metres of uninterrupted LED strip lighting from one outlet saves hours of wiring.
