Built for long runs
The big advantage of this 120V LED strip is simple: length. Standard low-voltage tape forces you to break a project into short segments, each with its own driver. Here, 120V technology lets you link two strips for a continuous strand of up to 50 meters fed by a single power outlet. For a roofline, a long fence, a warehouse mezzanine or a commercial awning, that means fewer components, fewer failure points and a cleaner-looking install. SKU STRP120 is sold as a 25 meter roll, so one roll already covers most residential perimeters in a single pass.
Light output and colour
The strip carries 39 individual 2835 chips per meter and produces 425 lumens per meter, a solid, usable output for accent and perimeter lighting rather than a thin decorative glow. The 120 degree beam angle spreads light broadly, which is exactly what you want when the strip is tucked under a soffit, along a railing or inside a cove: the surface lights up evenly instead of showing a line of bright dots. Choose Warm White for a welcoming, relaxed feel around patios, cabanas and living spaces, or Cool White for a bright, contemporary look on storefronts, signage and work areas.

Installation and compatibility
Plan the install before you unroll. Since the strip is not self-adhesive, plan on mounting clips, channel or a track to hold it in place — this is actually a plus outdoors, where adhesive tends to let go after a few freeze-thaw cycles. Because it is not dimmable, connect it to a standard switched circuit and leave dimmers out of the plan. The dedicated 120V LED strip accessories and connectors take care of the power feed, the end cap and the joint between two rolls; using the right parts is what keeps the IP65 seal doing its job. Respect the 50 meter maximum when chaining two strips together, and keep the connection points somewhere you can reach for future maintenance.
Where it works best
Think perimeter: the edge of a roof for year-round outdoor LED strip lighting, the underside of a gazebo or pergola, a deck railing, a garden wall, a fence line, or the ceiling cove of a basement family room. On the commercial side, it shines along storefront windows, under bar counters, around restaurant terraces, in garages, workshops and warehouse aisles where a long unbroken line of light is worth more than a series of fixtures. Canadian installers appreciate that one roll and one outlet can wrap an entire house or a full facade — and that an IP65 strip keeps working through rain, snow and humid summers. If your project needs an exact length reference or a written summary of the specs, everything listed above is what applies to this model.
