Built for millwork, not just ceilingsThe LED MicroPot™ was designed around a 1½" aperture, which is what makes it so useful where a conventional
recessed pot light is simply too big. The fixture is installed in an aluminum housing that allows for enclosed wiring and permits installation where insulation is present. That housing includes a strain relief to secure electrical cables and two torsion clips that grip the recessed surface for enhanced rigidity — no sagging, no wobble in a cabinet bottom or a thin soffit panel. The result is a tidy, professional
mini LED downlight that looks intentional in furniture-grade work.
Light quality you can trust on displayThis SKU outputs a warm white 3000°K colour temperature and provides up to 202 lumens, with a colour rendering index (CRI) of 85. That combination is the sweet spot for accent work: warm enough to flatter wood, leather, stone and skin tones, accurate enough that reds and ambers in wine, food and merchandise keep their depth. The fixture ships with a medium lens beam spread, which concentrates the output into a usable pool rather than scattering it, and it is
dimmable so you can tune the scene. Rated LED life is 50,000 hours, so once the millwork is closed up you're not planning re-lamping trips.

Installation and compatibilityBecause this is a 24V fixture, it is wired as part of a low-voltage run rather than plugged straight into line voltage — plan your driver and cable routing before the cabinet boxes go in, and use the strain relief provided on the housing to lock the cable in place. The two torsion clips let you push the fixture up into the cut-out and let it seat itself, which makes retrofits into existing cabinet bottoms and soffits fast. Keep it to indoor and damp locations only, and take advantage of the IC rating when the fixture lands in an insulated ceiling cavity. For colour continuity across a job, the MicroPot is offered in matching round trims: the
Round LED MicroPot in flat white is the same fixture with a lighter finish for white ceilings and pale cabinetry.
Where it earns its keep, and documentationThink retail showcases and jewellery cases, glass-front kitchen uppers, open shelving, under-cabinet accenting, corridor and hallway accent lighting in condos and hotels, restaurant bar fronts and banquette millwork, and wine cellars where a small, warm, damp-rated
recessed accent light is exactly right. Contractors also use rows of MicroPots to graze a feature wall or to mark a stair soffit without the visual weight of full-size cans.
