Looking for a recessed pot light that keeps up no matter the room? The 3.5" LUNA Fixed (SKU: RA35S-12F-DTW-90BN) is a compact recessed downlight built for homeowners and contractors who want a clean, trimless-look ceiling without sacrificing performance. Also known as a recessed LED light or pot light, this fixture is the go-to choice when people search for a reliable recessed light for vapour barrier installs, basement recessed lighting projects, or a simple upgrade from old can lights — all while staying rated for use in wet locations.

This fixture runs at 12W and delivers a rich 90 CRI for true-to-life colour rendering — perfect where accurate colour matters, like kitchens, bathrooms and retail displays. It features DTW (Dim-To-Warm) technology, so the light gently shifts to a cozy, warm glow as you dim it down, just like a traditional incandescent bulb. Built as an IC-rated fixture, it's safe for direct contact with insulation, making it ideal for tight ceiling cavities. It's also WETLOC rated, meaning it can be installed in wet locations such as covered porches, showers and outdoor soffits, and it meets Title 24 (T24) requirements for energy code compliance. The fixture is fully dimmable for smooth control of ambiance, and it comes in a sleek brushed nickel (BN) finish that blends into almost any décor.

The 3.5" LUNA Fixed is a natural fit for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, hallways, covered patios and commercial spaces across Canada where a durable, code-compliant recessed fixture is a must. If you're outfitting a whole house or a commercial build-out, pair it with matching LUNA fixtures in other finishes and colour temperatures, like the 3.5" Luna Fixed 12W 30K 90CRI Brushed Nickel or the 3.5" Luna Fixed 12W 35K 90CRI Brushed Nickel, for a consistent look room to room. Ready to bring warm, dimmable, wet-location-safe light to your next project? Add the 3.5" LUNA Fixed to your cart today.

Construction & light quality
This recessed downlight is built as a fixed, non-adjustable fixture designed to sit flush and clean in the ceiling — a great option for anyone chasing that minimal, trimless aesthetic in a recessed lighting project. With 90 CRI, colours render richly and accurately under this light, which matters in spaces where true colour counts: kitchens with stone countertops, bathrooms with tile work, closets, or any commercial space showing off product. The DTW (Dim-To-Warm) feature is a standout: as you lower the dimmer, the fixture doesn't just get dimmer — it warms up in colour temperature too, mimicking the cozy behaviour people love from old incandescent and halogen bulbs.

Electrical & installation details
Rated at 12W, this fixture is engineered for efficient, long-running performance without the heat and energy draw of older lighting technology. Its IC rating means it can be installed in direct contact with attic or ceiling insulation — a must for tight retrofit and new-construction ceilings alike, and one less thing to worry about with your insulation contractor. The WETLOC wet-location rating opens the door to installs that many recessed fixtures can't handle: covered exterior soffits, shower ceilings, and other damp or wet zones. It's also compliant with Title 24 (T24) energy standards, and it's fully dimmable, giving electricians and homeowners flexible control paired with a compatible dimmer.

Applications & compatibility
This 3.5" LUNA Fixed suits residential remodels, new builds, and light commercial work across Canada — think basement ceilings, hallway lighting, bathroom vanities, kitchen task lighting, and covered outdoor living spaces where a wet-rated fixture is required. Because it's part of the LUNA family, it pairs seamlessly with other LUNA fixtures for large-scale projects needing consistent styling: consider the 3.5" Luna Fixed 12W 30K 90CRI Brushed Nickel, the 3.5" Luna Fixed 12W 35K 90CRI Brushed Nickel, or the 3.5" Luna LED Square Recessed Fixture 27K Brushed Nickel for a coordinated finish palette throughout a home or building.
