Built to disappear into the ceilingThe LUNA 2" is engineered around a durable airtight aluminum body with an anodized blue heat sink that maximizes airflow around the LED light source — the kind of thermal design that protects output over time. The
regressed optics tuck the LED up inside the housing, which is exactly why the fixture reads as low-glare from normal viewing angles. The white (WH) trim keeps the aperture visually quiet against a painted ceiling, and the same LUNA look is available in 3", 3.5", 4" and 5" or 6" versions if you need project uniformity between a hallway, a kitchen and a great room.
Light quality and colour controlThis is a
colour selectable fixture: a 5-position switch right on the fixture lets you choose 2700 K, 3000 K, 3500 K, 4000 K or 5000 K before you snap it in. Output follows the setting — 626 lumens at 2700 K, 650 at 3000 K, 675 at 3500 K, 693 at 4000 K and 640 at 5000 K, up to 700 lumens overall. With a typical CRI of 96 and a 40° beam spread, colours stay honest and the light stays directional, which is what you want over a counter, a vanity or a niche. Dimming goes from 100% down to 10% with standard forward-phase / reverse-phase dimmers (contact factory for the compatible dimmer list).

Installation and wiringTwo spring loaded clips grip any ceiling material, so
remodel installs go fast: cut the Ø 2 1/2" (64 mm) hole, wire the box, push the fixture up. The extruded aluminum hardwire box holds a 170 mA dimmable Class II electronic LED driver and three "Quick connect" push-in terminals for quick, tidy connections. An 18" (457 mm) FT6 rated cable with a DC 2.1 connector links driver to fixture and is approved for use in plenums and suspended ceilings — note that it is not approved for branch wiring. For new construction, an optional pre-mounting plate is available, and the accessory family includes butterfly brackets, hanger bars, a 60" flexible connector to extend the distance between fixture and driver, a vapor barrier and a commercial grade driver. The fixture measures 2 3/4" (70 mm) and 2 13/16" (71 mm), with a 4 5/8" (117 mm) driver box and a 1 1/2" (38 mm) depth dimension.
