Behind the brushed nickel trim sits a 7W LED module delivering up to 700 lumens, up to 103 lumens per watt, with a typical CRI of 96 so wood grain, paint colours and skin tones all read true. The Dim-to-Warm module shifts from 3000 K down to 2000 K as you dim, with 100%–10% dimming on industry-standard forward-phase / reverse-phase dimmers, and outputs 680 lumens in DTW mode. The LUNA 2" is machined around a durable airtight aluminum body with an anodized blue heat sink that maximizes airflow around the LED source — the reason this small recessed downlight can push real output from a tiny aperture without cooking itself. The fixture measures 2¾" (70mm) across the trim with a 2 5⁄16" (59mm) and 2 13⁄16" (71mm) profile, a 1½" (38mm) depth and a 4 5⁄8" (117mm) driver box, and it drops into a Ø 2½" (64mm) hole cut. The brushed nickel (BN) trim of this SKU gives a soft metallic edge that suits modern kitchens and warm-toned interiors; the same fixture also exists in white and black.

Light quality and Dim-to-Warm
This is a general application luminaire with a 7 watt LED module producing uniform intensity, up to 700 lumens and a typical CRI of 96. The lens sets a 40° beam spread, and the optics are regressed for a low-glare, directional beam. Where this model stands apart is the Dim-to-Warm module: instead of a fixed colour, the light travels from 3000 K down to 2000 K as you dim, delivering 680 lumens in DTW mode — the candle-like warmth people expect from a dimmed halogen, without the heat or the energy bill. Wiring, driver and installation
Power comes from an extruded aluminum hardwire box housing a 170mA dimmable Class II electronic LED driver with 100-135V AC input. Three Quick Connect push-in terminals in the driver compartment make the wiring fast on a long install day, and an 18" (457mm) FT6 rated cable with a DC 2.1 connector links the driver to the fixture — approved for use in plenums and suspended ceilings, though not for branch wiring. Two spring loaded clips grab onto virtually any ceiling material for remodel work, while an optional pre-mounting plate handles new construction layouts. The housing is airtight and approved for direct contact with insulation, which keeps your air barrier honest in insulated ceilings.
