Dotless construction, continuous colour
What separates this LED neon flex from a bare LED strip is the diffusion. With 96 LED per metre firing through a flexible tube at a 120 degree beam angle, the individual diodes blur into one solid line of light — no dotting, no scalloping, no visible pixels even from a metre away. That is what makes it read like real glass neon while behaving like modern LED: cool to the touch, low voltage, and bendable by hand. The profile is a compact 8mm x 16mm, top-emitting, so it hides easily in coves, reveals, shadow gaps and sign backers.
Light quality and colour control
The engine is the Epistar 5050 RGB SMD chip, which mixes red, green and blue on a single die for saturated colours and clean transitions. This is an RGB product — colour-changing rather than fixed white — so it is best used as accent, signage and mood lighting rather than as a task light. It is dimmable through the remote or the wall panel remote, and a multi-zone controller unlocks 250 different colours, several flashing modes, variable speed within each mode, plus dimming and on/off. That means one run can be calm warm amber during dinner service and a moving colour chase for a party or a promotion.

Electrical and installation details
Plan the electrical side first: at 15W per metre, a full 5 metre spool is a real load, and the recommended sizing is 18.75W per metre fed by a Class 2 transformer — the included 24V 96W indoor power supply is matched to the spool. Cutting is refreshingly simple: follow the cut guides printed on the side of the tube and use a standard pair of scissors, then reconnect with the appropriate neon flex connector or end cap. Because the tube is not self-adhesive, mechanical support is required: use Neon Flex aluminum mounting clips for curves and freeform shapes, or a 2m aluminum profile for Neon Flex when you want dead-straight lines along a ceiling cove, a bar front or a stair stringer. Keep the low-voltage run and the driver accessible for service, and respect the 40C to -10C operating range.
Applications and documentation
Concrete examples: outline a cursive logo behind a reception desk, run a colour line under a floating vanity, trace the perimeter of a home theatre ceiling, light a basement bar backsplash, frame a gym mirror wall, or build a photo-booth backdrop for a café. Contractors like it for quick retail refreshes where a full fixture change is not in the budget of time, and homeowners like that one tube can serve a birthday, a hockey night and a quiet movie evening. The technical PDF (24V RGB 5M LED NEON FLEX) is available in the Documentation tab — download it to confirm dimensions, power per metre and transformer requirements before you order your clips, profiles and controller.
