Built for heat, built to last
Most LED strip lights quit long before a sauna reaches cruising temperature. This one was engineered for it. The COB67 uses chip-on-board LEDs mounted on a heavy 3-ounce circuit board, which pulls heat away from the diodes and spreads it along the strip. Heat dissipation is included, so you do not need an aluminum extrusion to keep it alive — a real advantage when you are gluing light onto cedar or hemlock benches. The strip measures 10mm wide and 5mm high, with an IP67 construction over the LEDs and a 3M self-adhesive back for a fast, clean stick.
Light quality you can see
COB means no dots, no shadows, no hot spots — just one continuous line of light. At 940 lumens per meter and a 98.4° beam angle, the glow is soft and wide rather than harsh and narrow. The 3000K Warm White colour temperature keeps the room relaxing and flatters natural wood, while a CRI of 90+ renders colours accurately — important in spas, bathrooms and any space where people look at themselves or at finishes.

Wiring, dimming and installation
The strip runs on 24V DC, so you will need a low voltage power supply sized at the recommended 12W per meter for the length you install. Both ends arrive pre-wired with 2 wires of 1 meter each, which gives you freedom to feed from whichever side is closest to your driver — and the driver should always live outside the hot room, in a cool, ventilated spot. Need a shorter run? Cut the strip on the marked points every 50mm and solder extension wires directly onto the copper pads. For control, use a low voltage dimmer/remote combo on the 24V side, or a dimmable power supply paired with a 120V AC dimmer. Mount the strip under bench edges, behind backrests or along the ceiling perimeter so bathers see the glow and not the diodes.
Where it shines and what comes with it
Residential dry saunas, wet saunas and steam-adjacent rooms are its home turf, but contractors also use it for spa treatment rooms, gym change rooms, hotel wellness suites and boutique clinics. It suits dry and humid environments, indoor and protected outdoor use, which opens the door to covered porches and sheltered soffits. Because it is cULus certified for Canada and the USA, it passes inspection on residential and commercial jobs alike.
