Built for a clean, even wash of light
The 1M Indoor White LED Wall Washer Bar Kit is a one-metre linear bar designed to sit low and out of sight while doing all the visual work. Its surface is sealed under IP65 spill-proof silicone, a protective coating that shrugs off dust and accidental splashes — a real advantage when the bar lives at floor level, along a baseboard, behind furniture or in a space that gets cleaned regularly. The silicone finish also gives the bar a smooth, wipeable face, so nothing collects between the lenses over time. This is a high output LED wall washer made to be installed once and forgotten, quietly doing its job year after year.
Where the light output comes from
Inside the bar sit 120 individual 5630 LEDs, a high-brightness chip format, and each one is amplified by a lens that tightens the beam to 25 degrees. That narrow optic is what separates a real wall washer bar from an ordinary strip light: rather than spilling light in every direction, it projects a long, controlled column of light that travels up the surface. The result is a wall lit up to 10 feet high with a continuous, streak-free wash that makes brick, stone, concrete, plaster and wood panelling look sculpted. Choose Warm White when you want a soft, golden, residential feel, or Cool White when you want a sharp, contemporary, gallery-like effect on the surface.

Installation and aiming
Placement is everything with a wall grazing effect. Set the bar 10 to 12 inches away from the wall for the most even, uniform result — closer than that and you'll see hard scallops and hot spots at the bottom of the surface; much farther and the beam loses its punch on the upper part of the wall. The optional mounting brackets let you tilt the bar toward or away from the wall so you can fine-tune the throw for a 10-foot ceiling, a stairwell wall or an angled architectural feature. Plan your low-voltage wiring first: decide where the driver and connection point will live (inside a cabinet, a closet, a service space or a recessed channel), keep the run accessible, and test the aim with the finished wall surface in place before you commit to permanent fastening — textured stone reads very differently than smooth painted drywall.
Real projects it belongs in
Think feature walls in condos and open-concept living rooms, textured brick in a basement bar, a fireplace surround, the back wall of a boutique or showroom, a restaurant's stone or slat wall, hotel and office corridors, museum-style display walls, and staged backdrops for photo or reception areas. Contractors reach for it when recessed cans or track heads aren't an option, or when the client wants the light without the fixture. Because it sits in our LED aluminum profiles and linear lighting category, it works hand in hand with the rest of a planned low-voltage installation — channels, connectors and accent runs elsewhere in the same room. If you need a hand matching the bar to your wall height, surface texture and white shade, reach out with your dimensions before ordering.
