Built to stay outsideThis floodlight is made the way outdoor fixtures should be made: a
die-cast housing with a
sealed lens, giving a weather-resistant,
wet-location rated assembly that shrugs off rain, snow, sprinkler spray and the freeze-thaw cycles that define spring in most of Canada. The housing doubles as a heat sink — efficient thermal management pulls heat away from the LED module, and that matters more than most people realize, because heat is what degrades colour consistency and shortens the life of an LED. Keep the diodes cool and you keep the colour saturated and the white light clean season after season.
Colour and white in one fixtureThe
RGBW design combines colour-changing diodes with a dedicated white channel. That's the key difference from a basic RGB unit: instead of mixing a washed-out approximation of white from red, green and blue, you get a true white channel for the nights when you simply need usable illumination at the back door. Colour selection is handled through the fixture's control method, so switching from a warm, quiet evening scene to a saturated red-and-green holiday display takes seconds — no swapping equipment, no second fixture bolted beside the first one.
Technical specificationsSKU: LCFLD15W-RGBWCCT-K
Wattage: 15W
Light output: RGBW (colour-changing diodes plus dedicated white channel)
Housing: die-cast, sealed lens
Location rating: wet location rated, weather-resistant construction
Mounting: adjustable bracket
Installation and placementThe
adjustable mounting bracket is what makes this fixture so flexible on site: it works on walls, under eaves, or on a ground stake pushed into a flower bed, and it lets you aim the beam up a column, across a sign face or into a tree canopy. A couple of field-tested tips — mount the fixture slightly away from the surface you're lighting so the beam spreads and softens instead of burning a hot spot into the wall, and angle it downward wherever possible to cut glare for neighbours and passing traffic. Always make the connection with outdoor-rated wiring into a properly sealed junction, and leave a small drip loop in the cable so water runs away from the connection rather than into it.
Applications and documentationThink garden beds, deck skirting, fence lines, flagpoles, pergolas and entry façades at home; storefront signage, patios, small parking areas and building corners for businesses. Because several power options exist within this family of
outdoor LED floodlights, you can specify smaller units for accent work and larger ones for broad wall washes while keeping the same visual language across a property. Need the same fixture in the alternate version of this family? See the
