Built for the weather, not the showroomThe body of this
outdoor LED floodlight is a rugged die-cast shell with tempered glass and sealed gaskets, rated
IP67 against dust and water ingress. That level of sealing is what separates a fixture that survives a Canadian winter from one that fogs up after the first freeze-thaw cycle. The finned housing spreads heat away from the diode, and good thermal management is the real secret to a long life — cool LEDs hold their brightness and their colour instead of drifting yellow or dim over the years. The finish is black, a neutral look that disappears against soffits, poles and dark siding.
Light quality you can actually seeA single
COB LED chip does the work here. Instead of dozens of tiny emitters throwing overlapping shadows, one concentrated source gives you a smooth field of light with a
120° beam angle for wide, even coverage. The
3000K warm white output is the friendly end of the spectrum: skin tones, wood decks, red brick and landscaping all read naturally under it, which is why it works so well on homes, patios and hospitality façades where a cold blue-white would feel harsh.

Wiring, mounting and controlsThis is a
low-voltage 24V DC floodlight, so it needs a properly sized DC supply — size the driver or power supply for the total load on the run and account for voltage drop on longer cable pulls, especially in landscape installs where the fixture sits far from the source. The adjustable bracket lets you set the aim once the fixture is up; mount it high enough to cover the target zone, then tilt it slightly downward to cut glare and keep spill off your neighbour's windows. Because it is low voltage, it plays well with
timers, photocells and motion sensors for automatic dusk-to-dawn or on-demand operation. Any permanent wiring should be handled by a licensed electrician.
Where it goes and what to pair it withThink building façades and signage, driveways and parking pads, docks and boathouses, equipment yards, barns and riding arenas, patios, workshops and construction sites. A contractor might run several units along a shop wall to kill the shadows around a loading door; a homeowner might use one to wash a stone façade and another over the garage apron. For tighter spots — a side entry, a single sign panel, a garden feature — step down to the
LED floodlight 24V 20W and keep the same warm 3000K tone and black housing across the whole property. The full
