Built for the weather, not the showroomThis is a slim and compact area lighter, and the construction shows where the engineering went. The body is
pressure die-cast aluminum, shaped to pull heat away from the LED boards so brightness and colour hold up season after season, and the lens is
polycarbonate — impact-friendly and far less nervous than glass on a windy pole or a busy loading dock. The whole assembly is rated
IP65, suitable for use in wet locations, so rain, washdown spray, humidity and snow load are part of the job description. With an operating temperature range of -40 to 45°C, it stays on through a January cold snap and a July heat wave alike.
Light output you select on siteInstead of stocking three different fixtures, you stock one. The
multi-watt selector sets the
LED floodlight to 400W, 450W or 500W, and the CCT selector sets 3000K for a warmer ambiance, 4000K for a brighter neutral light, or 5000K for maximum brightness. That flexibility is gold on retrofit jobs: start at 500W over a dark gravel yard, drop to 400W where poles are closer together, and keep the same look across the whole property. Choose 5000K over parking and security zones where you want faces, plates and signage to read crisply on camera, and 3000K where the lighting sits close to a residential edge.

Wiring, mounting and controlsThe
auto-sensing driver covers a 120-347V input range, which means the same fixture drops onto residential-style single-phase services and heavier commercial services without ordering a different part number — a real time-saver when a property has mixed panels. The built-in 10KV surge protection device helps the electronics survive the transients that come with exposed pole runs and storm-heavy sites. Because the unit is
0-10V dimmable, it pairs with building automation, lighting relays and controls strategies where you trim output after closing hours. Four brackets are sold separately — pole, trunnion, U-shape and knuckle (LCFLD-BRACKET-P, LCFLD-BRACKET-T, LCFLD-BRACKET-U, LCFLD-BRACKET-K) — so the head mounts on a pole top, a horizontal arm, a parapet or a wall. Cut power at the panel first, keep the aiming hardware slightly loose until the beam is confirmed after dark, then torque everything down.
Where it earns its keep, and what to readThink parking garages, arenas and stadiums, transport yards, equipment dealerships, scrap and lumber yards, marina lots, quarries and municipal garages — big, open, unforgiving spaces. Aim the
outdoor floodlight slightly downward from a high mounting point to spread light further while keeping glare off neighbours and drivers. Need the same performance in a warmer-looking finish for a building façade or a heritage district? Go with the
400-450-500W LED floodlight in bronze. The full technical PDF spec sheet, including the technical drawing, the polar candela curve and the accessory bracket list, is in the Documentation tab — worth downloading before you finalize pole spacing and mounting hardware.
