A cordless LED strip built for portability
Most LED strip lighting lives or dies by the nearest outlet. This kit removes that limitation entirely. Instead of a plug-in driver, it runs from a 12V power pack that holds 8 AA alkaline batteries, so the whole system — strip, pack and remote — travels in a small bag and sets up in under a minute. The strip itself is thin, flexible and very light, which is why it works just as well taped under a display shelf as it does stitched or pinned into a costume. Batteries are sold separately so you can choose standard alkalines for a one-off event or rechargeable AAs if you run displays week after week.
Colour control with the 24 key remote
The included 24 key remote is the heart of the system. It gives you 16 individual colours plus 4 colour-changing modes, all at the press of a button — no app, no pairing, no Wi-Fi network to worry about in a convention hall where the signal is already saturated. Lock it on a single solid colour to match a brand, a team or a holiday, or let it cycle for a display that needs movement to pull eyes from across the aisle. Because the control is in your hand, you can adjust the look from the far side of a booth without crawling under a table.

Installation and practical tips
Installation is about as simple as lighting gets: connect the strip to the 12V battery pack, load eight AA cells, and use the remote. Mount the strip along the inside edge of a display case, the underside of a counter lip, the back of a banner stand or the frame of a kiosk so the LEDs themselves stay hidden and only the glow is visible — that's what makes a booth look professionally lit rather than decorated. Keep the battery pack accessible so you can swap cells between show days, and bring a spare set of AAs to any all-day event. Since this is a battery powered LED strip designed for temporary and portable use, plan it for dry indoor settings such as booths, kiosks, halls and rooms rather than permanent architectural coves.
Where it earns its keep, and documentation
Contractors and small business owners in Canada reach for this RGB LED strip when a client asks for colour "by tomorrow" in a space that can't be wired: a pop-up shop in a shopping centre, a trade show booth in Toronto or Montréal, a seasonal window display, a restaurant patio event tent, a school gym for a dance, or a real estate open house feature wall. Homeowners use it for party décor, kids' rooms, cottage shelves and Halloween costumes. It's non-permanent by design, so nothing gets drilled, nothing gets rewired, and everything comes back down without a trace.
