Two strips, one battery packThis kit doubles the one-metre set: you receive two 1 m
LED strips in the same single colour, each with a connector on both ends, together with a battery pack and a dimmer or on-off switch. The pieces connect to each other without any cutting, so the two sections can run as one continuous 2 m line or be separated by a
DC extension wherever an obstacle gets in the way. Everything is
plug and play: connect, switch on, done. If one metre is all you need, the
one-metre version of this kit is the same product with a single strip.
Light quality and colour choiceThe
Epistar 3528 LED chip gives nearly three times the brightness of a normal LED chip, so a short run of strip makes a real impact even on batteries. The kit is offered in five single colours: red, green and blue for mood, party and themed lighting, and
cool white or
warm white for everyday use in a cabinet, a bookcase or a hallway. Each kit is one colour, applied to both strips, and the control supplied, a dimmer or an on-off switch, is included so you can turn the line on and off without touching the battery pack.
Installation tipsFix the strip in place first, then connect the sections and the battery pack. If the strip is mounted sideways or upside down, add extra adhesive such as
double-sided tape so it stays put over time. To keep the light even and the batteries working as intended, do not put more than 2 x 1 m strips and 2 x 1 m DC extensions on the same circuit, which is exactly what this kit is sized for. For a hands-free setup, a
PIR motion detector can be added to the bundle so the light comes on when someone walks by, handy for a closet, a pantry or a stairwell.
Where a cordless strip shinesBecause no outlet is needed, the usual limits disappear: light the inside of a china cabinet with its doors closed, a bookshelf against a wall without power, a trophy case in a school hallway, a bunk bed reading nook, a model railway, a trade show display or a market stall. Seasonal projects love it too: a red or green glow for the holidays, blue for a themed party, warm white for a cozy
under cabinet lighting effect in a rental where drilling is not allowed. It is also a great way to test an
